Just found this wonderful healing
Music
divine music
ОтветитьThe music and renditions are sublime (I have this CD - bought for this duet), but thank you, too, for the research and skill in putting together a beautiful collage of images!
ОтветитьToo slow.
ОтветитьUna gran obra, Gràcies per mostrr-la
ОтветитьSublime !
ОтветитьEs una versio de les millors , gràcies Jeffrey desde Catalunya
ОтветитьThis is one of those moments where the term genius is just inadequate
ОтветитьA beautiful presentation.
ОтветитьBravo Jeffrey! Bravissimo Handel! Che bellezza insuperabile.
ОтветитьHow wonderful the accompanying images, slowly revealing ' the morn ' as does the aria... I almost refrain from putting this public but the performance of Voices of Music with Amanda Forsythe is - ( I'll put it this way ) as much stunning ... do watch !
ОтветитьI am mindful that there are many 1000’s of people currently struggling to recover from Covid, who like me then will find themselves looking out each dawn from their hospital window and wonder about their future. I wish them well and hope too they find comfort from beautiful music such as this.
ОтветитьTho' perhaps not my most favourite interpretation of this sublime duet, it is fabulous & your montage equally stunning. Many thanks.
Ответитьstunningly beautiful
ОтветитьThis duet is wonderful, the music and the voices fly sweetly very high. Many many thanks, Jeffrey.
ОтветитьMaravillosa música, maravillosas imágenes. Maravilloso Händel. Gracias por tan alta aportación.
ОтветитьAh, you never disappoint, Mr Stivers! Thank you!
ОтветитьA little gem that I never tire of . Thank again dear Jeffrey
ОтветитьWhat a gift to view and hear any day but especially this Palm Sunday morning! Thank you.
ОтветитьThough I prefer a slightly faster tempo for this piece, this performance is beautiful, full of rich texture and balance of voices and instruments alike.
Bravo.
This one of my favorite Handel's duets, I'm never tired of listening to it, delightful rendition and beautiful and relaxing video, dear Jeffrey. Thanks again.
ОтветитьAm I the only one hearing a rough, scratchy sound at 3 minutes?
ОтветитьBeautiful - this hymn to the Enlightenment.
ОтветитьA thousand thanks, Jeffrey! This is sublime...
ОтветитьSublime composition, exquisitely performed. Thank you also, Jeffrey, for putting together the lovely video.
Ответить😍😌😇💞💝
ОтветитьDivine.
ОтветитьExquisite!
ОтветитьOne of my Desert Island discs ! Andy LW, Bath.
ОтветитьSplendida aria del genio haendel
ОтветитьI love this song but Mr Cooley and Ms Forsythe's rendition is so perfect. Still, this version is an absolute nugget of gold.
Ответить💕 thank you Jeffrey
ОтветитьThis is Handel at his best. He wrote many great duets but this is the one that will go through the centuries. This is the best recording of it. the voices blend without force and the tempo is relaxed as it should be.. Just wonderful.
Ответитьprobably the best performance
otherwise, I know Ms Crowe and Mr Padmore from their superb performance in SAMSON
(BBC Prom) under Harry Bicket (available here on YT)
I love this piece of music from Handel and this performance so much. It makes me realise that music can change this world in a better world with peace.
ОтветитьMy absolute favourite Handel piece of all time, with an 'endless melody' fit to make any late romantic composer envious. Plus this is my favourite rendition, and accompanied by such perfectly apt pastoral images. Altogether ravishing. Thank you!
ОтветитьHandel's great gift for mankind.
ОтветитьWhen was this recording made?
ОтветитьLucy Crowe is wonderful in this repertoire. Superb singing of the Constanze solos in the Mozart C Minor Mass at the Proms this year, and in the Premiere of James Macmillan’s new Christmas Oratorio.
ОтветитьBeautiful
ОтветитьUne merveille absolue !!!
ОтветитьOne of my very favourite duets sung by my favourite singers! Thanks so much for the beautiful images, you’re doing such a great thing so creatively! It matters and brings such joy!
Ответитьwhat a pair ❤
ОтветитьA pairing made in Heaven. Sublime.
