ОтветитьWhat is referred to as a cow hitch is actually the larkshead hitch. The difference is that a cow's hitch only has tension on one line where a larkshead hitch has both ends tensioned. When working with rope and cordage there are terms that should be commonly used so as to avoid confusion. There are working ends, standing parts, overhand and underhand loops, and bights etc. All this said, I do enjoy your tutorials and enjoy creating the weaves you demonstrate.
