I was dating a girl who loved Prateek Kuhad a lot. We always used to discuss the lyrics of his songs and the story behind that. When I asked about the ending of this song, she said he left and never came back.

Which made my heart sink. At that time I told her, it's the expression of how time is not passing by because he's not around her.

But now she's now when she has gone away from me, I realize it was indeed the guy leaving her after going abroad.
