ОтветитьThat trip looks amazing. There is nothing like talking to locals. When we were in South Korea we got talking to a man who asked where were we staying, we said Seomyeon, and he said it means restful village or place of rest. We were in Busan at that stage

Thank you for sharing. I definitely want to visit Hanoi, Ha Long Bay and more, if possible. The coffee is a must try for me and the food looks delicious. You didn’t mention your favorite food. I am a new subscriber and look forward to more of your vlogs.
ОтветитьDid a 3D/2N Halong/Lan Ha Bay(s) cruise a couple years ago. $770 USD for two - and a complete tourist-trappy ripoff. Boat only moved when picking up or letting off passengers. I'd estimate we were actually "cruising" for less than 45 minutes total! Further, we were accompanied by 17-18 other similarly-sized vessels and everyone did activities at the same time, making for an experience more akin to Los Angeles rush hour traffic than enjoyable. By all means, see Halong Bay, but take a daylight-only cruise!
As far as Hanoi, the city has its charms, but also leads the world in terrible air quality. Anyone with cardiac or respiratory issues should limit their time there, or avoid the city entirely. Actually, few (if any!) population centers in Vietnam are suitable for those with respiratory challenges!
