ОтветитьSuperb Da Vinci Resolve tutorial... please more of Da Vinci Resolve tutorials .... :-)
ОтветитьI actually have a vid that shows the wide range of hollywood films that have used davinci resolve for either their editing, coloring or vfx.
ОтветитьThanks Serge
ОтветитьExcellent tutorial on Resolve. I have watched others and basically gave up on it. I have a lot of experience with other video editors but after watching just part of this I uninstalled my old version of Resolve and installed the latest version. I watched the rest of your tutorial and tried some of your tips. It is really powerful. Yes, more Resolve tutorials with the "Serge Ramelli" touch would be helpful. Thanks.
ОтветитьI did watch it twice, simple, clear and useful. Hope you do more video about davinci in the future. 👌
ОтветитьInteresting. But you explain this as a tutorial in how to learn a video in less then 30 minutes (in fact 35m) even if not an editor. But, this is not true. I think you are presuming someone already knows how to use DaVinci Resolve as yourself because you go through your video, your project so fast, without taking the time to explain the controls in DR, what you use, why you use it and how to implement the controls. So, I don't think this is hardly a way to learn DR in 30 minutes.
ОтветитьHope you are well from health perspectve. So much fun - watching this video. I am getting into DaVinci as a Photographer as well. Keep on your content - you really make a difference.
ОтветитьThe transition from high to low speed is very abrupt when doing speed ramps this way, and looks a bit odd. Like if a car where driving at 120 km/h, and suddenly with a flick of a switch 30 km/h. Is there any way to make that speed ramp curve smoother when going from fast to slow (or vice versa)?
Cheers,
Eivind
I have been trying to get my head around this editing software for over a year. So more of these sounds like a good idea to me 🙄
ОтветитьThank you very much for sharing
ОтветитьThis is great - content, teaching by example, showing how to do everything, limiting it to not confuse new users, I love it. A perfect tutorial. Thank you Serge!
One question, any pointers on where to find decent (free) audio to use for clips?
The main problem with the free version is that it doesn't use the GPU for rendering ... that's a huge fallback because it relies only on the CPU and it takes more time to export stuff ... also it stresses the CPU on the long term ...
ОтветитьGreat tutorial! Yes, please make more! I find it helpful especially since you made it coming from a photography perspective, because I have no idea how to edit video.

ОтветитьHonestly, one of the best beginner/intro resolve tutorials I’ve found... exactly what I was looking for to help me edit my vlogs... thanks!
ОтветитьIn lockdown I've suddenly developed an interest in video production and editing (bitesize lightroom tutorials in the pipeline) and I like this video for a basic intro to editing - especially the but and colour screens - one question though - can you apply a colour grade all of the video by selecting all the clips and apply the same grade to all?
ОтветитьNice teaching skill! Very good tutorial.
ОтветитьFantastique....
