Where are the good old days when you could fit a second engine inside the engine bay?
ОтветитьShut up , i love them
ОтветитьScotty you can go f yourself! After listening to your advice and buying crappy non reliable Toyota shitboxes that cost me thousands to repair I now went back and bought a Mini and guess what: it’s miles better and reliable!
ОтветитьThanks for the great advice
Ответитьthat’s why they call it a MINI!
ОтветитьScotty's right. *DO NOT* buy these cars, especially not the 2nd generation! Endless money pits! Don't ask me how I know! Timing chain, high pressure fuel pump, thermostat housing, electronics, valve cover, VVT solenoids, you name it - it'll break!
Ответитьthis is a bridge too far, Scotty! Don't be coming for my mini coopers.
ОтветитьWhat year mini can you buy though? How about a 2010??? what year did the fan belt and plastic problems start?
ОтветитьDon't pay any attention to this !!! I have owned and driven a 2003 Mini Cooper S, and I've never had a problem. 140,000 miles. Fun !!! Fast !!! And completely dependable . Just like ANY other vehicle, keep on top of the routine maintenance. Ab' fantastic car.
ОтветитьSorry did and it never let me down for 20 years in 2002
ОтветитьDon't forget this is German design.
ОтветитьI had a Mini Countryman from 2017 (new model) to 2020. Drove 135,000Km, not one single issue. The smartest car I’ve ever had.
ОтветитьThat is a BMW. Not a mini
ОтветитьSo is it a crysler engin or the BMW?i just got a mini convertable as my dog car, cant carry anything, but what fun and so easy to drive, great for a man needing readinfg glasses as the speedo is so big lol
ОтветитьPerhaps sometime he could tell us what car we should buy. Doubt it will be anything you’d want to be seen dead in
ОтветитьI heard the same think from other people until I bought a 2013 Mini in 2016 with 40K miles and until this say at 107k miles ZERO problems and I LOVE IT! My next car will be another mini for sure. Piece of advise I got before buying, research the year, buy low mileage as possible, ALWAYS use premium gas and liqui-Moly oil only. I take it to my mini specialist for check up twice a year and the required oil changes. God for it they are FUN and you won’t regret it.
Ответить2009 , with 356,891 Minor services , zips the turns great on gas , Still rolling ...
ОтветитьThere are inconveniences to Minis and advantages. I have a Cooper and it's a great car. I don't think i'd condemn a car just on the basis of its fan belt. Mine's 12 years old and it runs great. It has a 6 speed manual gearbox and it goes pretty good.
ОтветитьWhat about the one with a manual transmission?
ОтветитьFan belt? Who still calls it a fan belt?
ОтветитьHe’s right about the ICE minis but all of that is out the window when you get an EV. ICE vehicles are dinosaurs before the asteroid.
ОтветитьThe English built a proper, practical, serviceable, little Mini Cooper via the BMC. This ... overly complicated, dealership money pit, is all BMW.
ОтветитьOh Scotty, eff off. I drive my series 1 Minicooper to work and back every day. very glad for it.
ОтветитьSeeing the engine check light on is just such a Mini thing 😂
ОтветитьI agree! And on top its a expensive car with most rubish ,cheap things on it!!!
ОтветитьThe original Mini was built for the Hill Climb race, so it was light and minimalistic on infrastructure and the front wheel drive was indeed revolutionary.
Lovely little cars - very fast and went round corners like it was on rails - then they let modern designers fatten up the lean racer into a 'family' car and ruined it.
I do what I want
ОтветитьThere is a thing called warranty hehe... mini is not for peasants
ОтветитьMy 2011 mini has 315k miles and runs like a new car
Ответитьi have already fixed the belt problem. It's just so damn hard to find a standard these days. I wanted a 4 cylinder, stick shift. the MINI fit the bill.
ОтветитьThat’s the most Minnie mouse ever I ever seen 😅
ОтветитьThe friction gear is the most dumb thing I've ever seen!
Ответитьbaby, this Mini sold like candy.
ОтветитьJust bought a 2014 stick after drivingva BMW Z4 for 19 years until it starting breaking down.
ОтветитьChange the oil every 3-6 thousand miles, check the coolant frequently
ОтветитьDriving a rented Mini Countryman base. Don't know why anyone would buy this at the price.. my Honda Fit handles better, has roughly the same HP yet is way lighter, gets much better MPG, and costs WAY less in all aspects. Seems like you're only paying for fancy lights and a cute design?
Always nice renting cars so you know what never to buy...
CLEAN YOU DAMN GARAGE AND GETTO YARD!!
ОтветитьThank god I saw this vid, I was thinking of buying one
ОтветитьMotor foremen talk, try to save your money, customer, just pay and proud...
ОтветитьI've got a 2004 mini Cooper s 6 spd. Maintenance costs are ridiculous, but it's a blast to drive
ОтветитьThey are problematic but I love mine
ОтветитьI LOVE my Mini!!
ОтветитьCalm down Cletus...jeez!
ОтветитьA legendary race car since 1960. But its junk. Gotcha.
ОтветитьThis guy is stupid. Mini’s are a luxury series and not suppose to be worked on at home.
ОтветитьI agree wit😅h you 100/100
Ответитьbuy a Zastava...
