You just don't rate lens flare lol...me neither...I enjoyed this tutorial I learned more about the effects in the folders I never open nor explored. I also learned practical applications for these effects along with a better understanding of them. Its always good to have someone explain stuff in a clear and concise manner. Even better when you have them tell you which effects to avoid. It's true some are really cheesy lol. I used the lightning effect in a birthday video last year and now I'm laughing at myself. haha. Thank you Colin.

I love your work. Many thanks for your videos. I have a question. For title bumpers I will combine several text layers (maybe some animated) and a color matte and then "Nest" them so that it can fade uniformly. When I do that though I can no longer blend that clip with another for a crossfade for example. Am I doing something wrong? Another version of this question is why do some clips crossfade and others do not? Thanks
