I got lost early and have one coming in 3 days! I got lost at firm ware. I'll come back when I'm formatted and ready to give it a real go. Fingers crossed because I'm border line computer illiterate
ОтветитьI already build an raspberry, but I was very disappointed, it worked so good, and after 1 years, for no reason a lighting mark appears in the corner, but I am using the official electrical adapter, so I think the raspberry wears down, little by little like a normal computer, so now even the snes games has slowdown.
Then I hacked my snes mini, it is nice, been able to put the games I want, but there is a lot of limitations, you can put up to 30 games in each folder, and the more games you put inside the longer it takes to load the game list. When you put new games, it automatically puts 30 games in each folder, but I only put like 200 games and took like 10 mins, maybe if you put like 800 games, probably it will freeze and if you turn off like this, it will probably break.
So I had a super famicom I usually don’t use that much, so I tried buying this Everdrive x5, this blew my mind away. I can see it is a more updated version than the one in the video, I put 200 games in each file, and the snes can read them super fast, you select any of them and in 3 seconds it loads.
I don’t mind don’t having the most expensive version, those games I can just play in the snes mini, like Mario kart, Yoshis island, star fox. Everything else I can just play in the super famicom, and the control is super responsive, even better than the snes mini.
Thank you so much for the video.
Playing Fire Emblem 3 and 4 in English I exactly what I wanted to do. Thank you for the explanation. I could never have done this by my self.
By the way, for translated games that were only officially released in Japan does the patch account for it or do I need a Japan region Super Famicom?
I bought one to test my childhood Snes! Exciting ❤
ОтветитьWill this work on the RetroDuo?
ОтветитьWhat's up bro, the everdrive x5 only accepts .sfc files or also .smc?
ОтветитьHi, does Killer Instinct game work on this Everdrive x5?
ОтветитьFor the money, hard to beat X5 - 95% compatibility. X6 is unobtainable as of now and if you can find its double the cost of the X5, and FX pro is $220+
ОтветитьI’ve have spent 4 hours trying to get mine to work with no success
Ответитьif I have a Super Famicom can it only run NTSC roms with the everdrive x5?
ОтветитьSd card not found error.... love how theres like 0 fixes for it.
ОтветитьI had this but it died within 1 use.
Ordered a clone last night to see if that holds up better.
I got this a few weeks ago and I'm loving it! Been playing through the Super Metroid/Link to the Past Randomizer on it lately and I can't get enough of it! Worth the purchase.
Ответитьi can play the games on the GBA ?
ОтветитьSo do save games function like you expect?
ОтветитьCan you apply multiple cheats at once?
ОтветитьI bought the super everdrive X5 SPECIALLY to be able to run converted nes games on it ,because on the powerpak, those nes games will crash earlier on due the limited amount of KB ram, the everdrive does have much more kilobytes of ram,so nes games will run before they crash, and since the everdrive saves everything automatically, i can then repatch those nes roms with those corresponding generated srm files sothat they will now run smoother and no longer crash or crash later on sothat in such case i have to predo the nes conversion by mixing 2 generated srm files from that specefic nes ron,and even better after preconverting those nes roms, they can now also run smooth from beginning to end on the powerpak,
Now the real cool feature from the everdrive(wich the powerpak lacks) is the superkeu feature to allow each region game running on each region system, so now i can use the super everdrive on my supaboy to play both nes & snes roms portible on it while the powerpak is used on my snes for home play, also since the powerpak does not work on my supaboy ,
However no matter how interesting the everdrive is,since i already own the powerpak, the wow factor is sadly gone, but still trough.
I really want the fxpack but 200$ is way too much. I settled for the ever drive.
Ответитьdoes she read the nes rom?
ОтветитьHow can you save the game?
ОтветитьBut what about save games? You mentioned it briefly but never got to it or did I miss it? But anyway thanks for all the other tips 🙌🏻
ОтветитьHey mate what is the background music for the first minute :)
ОтветитьNo mention about how to save games wich size srm file you can use and what not.
Btw i managed to run nes games on the powerpak with nested emulator but not all mentioned games do work on it, it has something to do with the amount of srm ram on the cartride or something,
For instance i could play metroid on snes9x but on the powerpak all i got is a black screen, supermario 3 runs fine on snes9x but on the powerpak it crashes at certain points in the game, but mariobros just runs fine on both snes9x & powerpack etc,,,
Thank you jesus my friend. Chip dsp not found.
ОтветитьI got this because I got a CRT, have a SNES but only 1 physical cart Super Mario World. Talk about instantly expanding my library! Thanks for the video
ОтветитьWhich is better than Super Everdrive or SNES MINI and why?
ОтветитьWe have the same speakers
ОтветитьWhat is SuperKEY? I don't think it's related to supercic.
ОтветитьCan I use this still in 2021?
ОтветитьYup, Pilotwings uses an enhancement chip and F-Zero doesn't. Around a hundred SNES games use one of the many enhancement chips, give or take, so there's gonna be a whole load of games that wouldn't work here.
ОтветитьKITTEH!
ОтветитьHey there RetroBreak, did you run into any issues with ROM hacks? I got my Everdrive today and unfortunately only a couple hacks are working, let me know if you get a chance!
ОтветитьYou should trade up to the FXPAK Pro anyways. Great video!
ОтветитьIs there a SNES adapter cart out there that can run GBC games?
Ответитьi just bought a fx pak pro i thought it had save states wtf or am i missing something ?
ОтветитьI got the HD retro vision cables for the SNES but my fucking TV doesn't show an image and only sound is heard. Genesis works fine no problem. you guys have no idea how pissed off i am lol
ОтветитьI think Pilotwings has a DSP chip, but doesn’t have the extra prongs on the bottom. So that might be why it didn’t work. Mario Kart has one too, although there were different types (DSP1, DSP2 etc) so it might be to do with that.
Ответитьplease try mame and mobile games next
Ответитьplease try mame and mobile games next
ОтветитьUnrelated to this video but I've found that one of my NES games from childhood that I still have is worth a bit of money. The game is "Action in New York" which I have loose, CEX are selling it for £50 loose, £100 boxed, eBay lists it as higher. Any reason why it's so much?
ОтветитьI'm sure if if you livestream game you can gain a lot of .
ОтветитьI wished they kept the name "Super Everdrive."
Ответитьi wish you'd finish a game so that I'll watch it
ОтветитьAnother Great Video !!!! Very Informative !!!!
ОтветитьHow do you save your game?
ОтветитьCan you play Super Famicom games through it? I assume you can...
ОтветитьLooks interesting, even as someone who doesn't really do much SNES gaming. Fire Emblem peaked my interest though, I'd love to be able to play some of the FE games we never got~
ОтветитьTranslated FE4 <3
