This is the misunderstanding of vedic knowledge. In vedas we do not have any temples. Vedic gods are the energy containing forces of cosmos. These are worshipped in open atmosphere.

The most beautiful religion in the world.

ISKON people are not Vedic.They do not know what are Vedas. They do not even perform any Vedic rites related to spiritual longings. So that temple at Mayapur is not Vedic. People have money and they have erected a temple. Prabhupada was not a sadhaka. He was a householder. It is a way of cheating people. Showing carries no significance in spiritual life. Most of the followers of ISKON people are interested in showing than leading good life. Some people are of business minded also. People coming from foreign do not understand Indian spirituality and they think that only dancing will make them spiritual. It is not so easy. From the core of your heart you should maintain many things. At first you should be absolutely truthful and pure in mind for which you do not give utmost importance. You like only talking without knowing many things.

For who’s benefit is all this opulence for? Just imagine how many poor people could be feed and raised out of poverty. The guy conducting the tour in my opinion has a sense of arrogance “Let’s Go” I am sorry NOT impressed at all.

I visited this place in 1996, I think Mahaprabhu Chaitanya’s birthplace is other side of river Ganga. Many people say that exact location of his birth place in now under the river. The river changes its course every couple of years. Mayapur ISKON temple is a separate entity.
