How did you do this cause each time I go to the VA light, the chase ends

here on sept 2022 and this still works!

When I was farming something like this, and when I reached up to rank 8, all of every zombies have the same rank level, which are much hard to dealt with

For new players or players restarting, there’s an easy way I’ve found to kill Volatiles. You need to get your agility and combat levels up without playing too much of the story. This means that any gear and weapons you find will be high levels but keeping zombie levels low. I just restarted the game again and noticed that all my weapons kill them 1-5 hits depending on the zombie. Right now, I’m halfway through level 8 and my story quest is level 3. Every volatile I meet is a level 4 and I kill them in 2 hits, even things like goons and demolishers only take about 5 hits.

So if you haven’t gotten too far into the story, find a way to farm points to get your levels up and you can farm things like unique trophies and mutation samples easily.

They fixed the farming spot. They made the light reach a little further so when standing on it. Your in the UV light eventually ending the chase :(

Edit: ignore what I said, I was just on the wrong side of the tower. So nvm it still works

I think this has been patched...it ends the chase immediately when on top of the water container now.

Looks like it’s not working well with the update. They put a bunch of pk and survivors there at night and if you accidentally hit one in the mix they all come after you. If you go long enough it looks okie the all die but just a warning.

for some reason even when im fighting them, the chase ends. im also moving out of the US light. so not sure if im doing something wrong.

This has been the best farm i've tried so far. Netter me in one night 53 unique tropies, 13 rare 37 unique. $9700 in sellable items, though i use the mod "more loot" from nexus mods. More loot adds small amounts of money, sellable items or crafting items to zombie kills. Because volatiles drop high level sellables with this mod I was farming tons of cash when killing the same amount of regular zombies would yield me like $300 in items and money.

This does not work, idk if they fixed this in the last update but it didn't work for me at all, enemies don't get affected by the light and just attack. Also when I died and went back for the loot of what I did manage to kill everything was gone. (PS4)

It is not hard to farm trophies, there's a bunch of exploits such as getting chase 3/4 then finding a green gre container and dropping into it while volatiles are chasing you and they die if they fall in, or for uncommons and rares there's a side quest named "Black widow" you unlock further on past the Fish eye, if you don't do the objective 40 runners will keep spawning, then you kill yourself or you force the ai your defending to die by letting him get hit by the zombies and when you fail the mission you go back into the same room and it starts all over again.

100 trophies for the final level for a blueprint is absurd.

Worked well for me until wave 4 then for some reason the volatiles did not care about the UV light and I got my ass split. Not sure why

You don’t get the ship 2 hours into the game. More like 5 or so.

Cutler Island bridge is better. Volatiles jump at you but the bridge ropes keep them above your hitbox, you have 4 howlers nearby to keep chase level up, and virals funnel into the bridge 1 or 2 at a time. Easy to mow down, and you have the herbalist's bed to rest at as well.

Im gonna try this but also a Good trophy farm is the Black Widow quest where you go to look for Josh, find Josh, and just start killing the virals, unique trophies drop aswell, not that often though. be sure to get the virals away from the holes, so they dont bug into the wall, then when the virals stop spawning, get the loot kill Josh or suicide, Josh can be killed by explosives or kicking him in to the spikes, quest will fail, and then just respawn and rince repeat. If you dont get All the loot or Josh dies prematurely, dont be sad, cause the loot stays in the room, Even after you respawn. If it works for All I dont know, but did for me and My friends :) offcourse if you have completed the mission, it is not an option. Best in coop in My opinion. Best of Luck and Griff try this out

Just find a big van with the back door open and hide in the back of one, use molotovs and UV bars in the choke point and farm forever. The van means you're protected on all sides and they can only come at you from the front.

Tips for people who can’t get it:

1: You have to continue the story until you get the mission where they tell you to go into the ship (to deliver a letter) for you to be able sleep at the ship.

2: when you walk out of the ship and go left, the tower is there. Don’t go on the first water cooler you see, the one that he uses is the best one to use and it’s actually on the back right of the tower. Notice how from his angle, you see a little campfire on the ground. You know you’re on the right cooler when you also see a campfire on the ground. It wasn’t working for me at first because I was on the wrong cooler.

3: You can just climb to the next level of the tower for UV light, you don’t need to use any of your UV items to prevent yourself from becoming infected

4: Make sure you’re always paying attention to the chase meter so that you can stay on 4 for as long as possible and get as many trophies as possible

The volitiles killed me and they didn't care about dam uv lights

Good one. I just got to that ship. I didn’t see a fast travel option maybe I’m just missing it. Anyway I should try and get some of the good weapons and gear from the underwater drops that you showed. I don’t think I’ve traveled down there yet.
