It works up untill I go to export, it will ignore the background and export it in the original 16:9 format

My export always gives me 16:9 but cursed, is there a way to retain portrait resolution on export that I'm not seeing?

I have to ask, why did you create the extra video track that has nothing in it? Can you not just apply the DVE effect to your original video track?

I've done this, but when I export, I get a portrait video zoomed into the middle third. What am I doing wrong?

Can i create a video track above the effect track like fillers and adjustment layers in lwks

I like that you left in the mistake - it's good to see that you're connecting to the community on a human level like that, owning your mistake. But it's also good to show where should/shouldn't click in order to get the option(s) you want. Keep up the great work, team!
