ОтветитьIt’s vram swapping causing the stutters it’s uses around 5 gigs at 720p so when it swaps above 4 it stutters a lot it’s just an issue being a PlayStation game they are developed to favor the gpu and vram

ОтветитьMan, once you turned the settings down it turned from a PS4 game into an early Xbox 360 game :(
ОтветитьIf you just play at 30fps, and use linear or FSR2 it works and plays just fine. 60fps just isn't something feasible with these games on the Steam Deck. I play everything at 30fps and it's basically just like an Xbox One/PS4 experience, very steady. Which is what this is made for, this is a Handheld. So you have to expect it.

If you're fund of playing triple A titles on steam deck just like me then the 70hz screen mod is a must have. You can lock the fps and refresh rate at 35 fps. The difference of 30 to 35 is very noticeable.
You have to give it more than 30 seconds for shader compilation
ОтветитьThis game is unfixable on steamOS. I played around 30%, went everywhere on Windows running off of sdcard and didn't encounter a single stutter or freeze. Also the framerate is perfectly stable, you can even use medium-high settings for 30fps.
On steamOS I was getting constant cpu spikes and no matter how many time I go somewhere, what cryobite settings I use, how long I leave it in main menu, what gpu clock, tdp, framerate, vram, game settings - it's just unbearable.
The game itself is not a problem here like some fools are telling people. It does consume space while running because of pagefile but it runs great.
most people use a 4g frame buffer and but horizon is ram hungry more than vram at lower settings causing more stutter if you put textures on low, LOD on medium on a 1g frame buffer your stutter will be vastly improved due to the increase in normal ram.
ОтветитьCan you try the later areas? I had problems there on my 6800 xt. Heard that its basically unplayable in those later parts on SD too
ОтветитьRuns great! I even play it docked! The drops are shader compiling usually... game runs great at 40fps handheld, and 30fps docked.
