The narrator seems not to follow the English translations. The native's English is understandable. The translator takes too many incorrect words and sentences.

My boyfriend grew up here. His parents created an alphabet in the local language and then taught people to read and write. It took 20 years. When they finished, his parents came back to the states and his father died two weeks later. Seems like he did his life’s work and then moved on…
