Just found this game like 2months ago haven't been able to put it down playing through the cannon with a friend on pve until I beat the story I'm at the gamma tek cave now basically I can't wait to gottl scorched earth next!!!!!

I was waiting for the words: “Calien Soup”, because 1) reduces water consumption for a period of time and 2) cools you down and keeps you cool for a period of time (I always forget how long, I don’t cave or boss often).

How did you manage to get better stats on your shotgun that what was in the BP?

Maybe you could've had the otter kill some baby rexes to level up it's melee damage for enough insulation to not be bothered by the temperature. I usually play with single player settings so I don't know if the temperature is different.

I did alpha earlier today, crafted 2 shottys which came out around 285%, 3k shells, ghillie for the cave, tek chest + boots & rest fur (plus spare set which didn't need) for overseer, 30 cactus broth, fight probably took 70 mins, ended up using just over 1900 shells but didn't have to kill drones cos of cactus broth so reckon I'd have needed around 2500 without it as they're a pain on alpha, did a respec before and put all my speed points into weight so had over 700 to help carry everything
