The Most Brilliant Puzzle Box Ever!!

I got this box in the '90s!

Bit disappointing that the dice puzzle box isn't even crafted like a real dice.
Doesn't everybody know, a real dice should always have its opposite sides totalling 7.
Six should be opposite one, five opposite two and four opposite three.
Any other configuration is wrong!

As soon as you pointed out that the numbers weren’t the normal dice scheme, I guessed the solution and was happy that you tried several times til it worked!

Can you tell me where do you get this box?

Top and bottom numbers always add up to 7, 1- 6,
5-2, 4-3.

I loved the look and quality of this box straight away so I ordered one for myself for a gift. It’s a joy to handle and the mechanism is ingenious. Was difficult to wrap it up and give it away.

Yes, 3 and 4 are opposite on real dice. 2 and 5 plus 1 and 6 are also opposites. They need to add up to 7. so....

Don't ever apologise for your enthusiam :-) that's one of the main reasons I like your videos. BTW I never watched the solution as I put it on my list of purchase candidates. I finally bought it and I expect it will be delivered tomorrow. Looking forward to it like a kid.

Does it bug anyone that the sides dont add to 7?

Plcae side 1 upwards first, then turn side 2 upwards and then so on, until for side 6.

I finally managed to 3D-print my own dice. And it works!!!!

I swear to absolute God I'm not making this up:

At the beginning with the Kaleidoscope, he said "let me just zoom in a bit, and show how this looks".

The video immediately cut to an advert about bra Innovation, and the first image is of a woman holding her breasts up with just her nipples covered with flesh coloured material.

Couldn't have been a better cut if it was deliberate.

Japanese wood craftsmanship is beyond insane

On a real die, the sum of a side and it's opposite side is always 7.

If this were bulletproof/fireproof, it would be much more effective than a safe

You didn't comment on the dot on the single dot side being bigger than all the other dots. Wasn't that important in some way?

What if the number sequence is not sequential? Like custom box with birthday number etc.

This is an incredible puzzle, but WOW that price! Clearly a lot of craft and work goes into making one of these. One day 👀

I can't be the only one getting unnerved by the fact that the dice's faces are not correct. :(

The numbering of the dices as you spotted were wrong but that certainly was the giveaway to solve this. Yes 1 is opposite to 6, 2 to 5, 3 to 4 and you’ll figure the totals are always 7..that’s how a genuine dice should be but for this puzzle with a stash compartment..oh my😅

Having the Dice pips on incorrect faces would drive me nuts.

I'm pissed off when people get the solution but they hold it in their hands which fumbles the solution.
