It's over price
ОтветитьThose guards at the Uyghur concentration camps need caffeine for their 24 hour shifts. Torturing Muslims is exhausting, I've heard.
Ответить15 years ago, maybe. But nowadays, starbucks is losing its market share in china quickly. There are many other coffee shop options.
ОтветитьThat’s why most people have driver license because they need drivers it’s very un well pay and they advance of people
ОтветитьThe government is like they a big problems with me hahaha
ОтветитьMilitary people are very poor and they don’t have respect for them
ОтветитьHere in China, since most of the cakes and pastries are pre-made else where, freshly delivered to each venue each day, which shielded Starbucks from any food safety problems. Cause if things go wrong, they could just expose whom they are teaming up with, essentially any food issue in Starbucks will be accredited to domestic providers.
But it’s also not like Starbucks doesn’t have any PR issues. As the video pointed , it’s considered to be a status symbol. In the past you get to see news about some barista being rude and insulting to customers who only ordered small cups , or some store expelling elders or public servants like cops , who may not buy anything and just uses the chairs and AC for rest. But these do not happen very often, possibly 2-3 cases every 2 years .
I disagree. Starbucks' outlook in China is bleak, and competitors are still continuously stealing market share from Starbucks. Using Luckin Coffee as an example:
-They have already surpassed Starbucks in store count (9310 vs 6243 as of 23Q1).
-They're opening stores at much faster rate than Starbucks (1 new store every 2 hours vs every 9 hours in 23Q1).
-They're rapidly catching up to Starbucks China in terms of revenue (gap of $2.5bn in 2018, vs $760mn in 2022).
With a poor economic outlook, Chinese consumers are being very cautious with their spending, and they will likely continue to spend less on discretionary products such as coffee. Even if they were to buy freshly brewed coffee, they are more likely to opt for cheaper alternatives such as Luckin over the expensive Starbucks.
Luckin Coffee opens 500 stores in one month, with 10,000 stores by June 5, 2023...Luckin's yearly revenue is only $59 Million behind Starbucks...
ОтветитьTheir is not a product that is more snobby that I don't understand... than Starbucks. I don't understand its appeal... especially for guys... since I am I guy I look at Starbucks as a feminine brand... men who drink Starbucks are manginas
ОтветитьChina --- we feel like their is a lack of masculinity in our men.
Starbucks --- say no more
To be a bit more precise, Western Disturbances came in at the same time as monsoon, which caused excessive rain in North India

ОтветитьA major difference is that in the States, the employees have this "entitled" sense of mentality (ie Unions etc) - it's the me, me, me generation. In Asian culture is about a we/us mentality and employees are proud to be hired by Starbucks as it is a much sought out position. So, if you don't want to work there.... fine no problem. There are 10k others waiting in line to take your spot.
ОтветитьThe greater the passive income you can build, the freer you will become. Taking the first step is the hardest, but 5 houses later living off passive income since July 6, 2016. You’ve got to start taking steps to achieve your goal.
Ответить$$$$
ОтветитьIt's a fad like McDonald's but worse for price. Soon people will move on to more local coffee shops, just like what is happening in other countries.
ОтветитьIn China there are so many other local brands that are more affordable, Starbucks are just overpriced and I barely went
ОтветитьThis is NO DIFFERENT to the "gwei lo's" & particularly the English pushing OPIUM onto the Chinese people. Like Trump & Biden, CHINA should wake up & STOP THE INTRODUCTION of CAFFEINE to prevent getting addicted to ANOTHER DANGEROUS DRUG! Remember CHINA & the CHINESE PEOPLE suffered during the OPIUM WAR which was maliciously pushed onto the unsuspecting 3rd world people by the whites.
ОтветитьIn Spain people prefer to go to the cafeteria de barrio that costs 1.1 to 1.3 euro instead of the overpriced Starbucks
ОтветитьStarbucks is too expensive, nothing about the income.
ОтветитьNo sir it most definitely isn't the same league - Balenciaga and Starbucks - idiotic comparison.

ОтветитьThey didn’t win and now will fail due to China
ОтветитьLuckin is actually doing well these days, after the scandal. Customers really don't care about the fabrication of balance sheets as long as their coffees are good and affordable. The investers do care. But Luckin is not even listed in China.
ОтветитьStarbucks violated the one-China principle and suggested that the Chinese government expel the company.
ОтветитьI don't mind my wife's beds but wtf felipe
ОтветитьStarbucks in Asia cares about it's customer base
ОтветитьStarbucks is winning for now

Of course, I will pay you a considerable advertising fee
ОтветитьLuckin Coffee takeover
ОтветитьWhen China Invades Taiwan ... all these investments will be abondandoned .. beware.
ОтветитьRight behind Chase...
ОтветитьMe sorprende que Starbucks mantenga los mismos precios en todos lados, sin importar, si un país es emergente o no
ОтветитьWhere comes the data for the thriving story?
Is the source of this story is the CCP propaganda apparatus?
The first time I had Starbucks was in 2012 when I was in the senior year of my college. It costed 69 RMB or $10 at that time. It was very very expensive to me since I only spend 15 RMB per day for my meals. Literally, one cup of coffee covers 5 days of my food😅
ОтветитьRemeber going to a store in Thailand on holiday & it honestly looked like a 5* star top of the line posh restaurant with loads of fancy paintings & all sorts. I shudder at folk who spend £10 a day at Starbucks in developed countries let alone those in developing countries spending £5 daily whilst having maybe 1/5 of the income.
ОтветитьEven though Starbucks sucks and burns their beans. That's why I used to get blond. Also darker the roast less caffeine.

ОтветитьReal coffee is expensive so why we want to go to cheap market?
ОтветитьI doubt they charge Chinese customers 5 bucks for a cup of coffee
ОтветитьBecause they made the right choice to work with a partner that knew China market very well and that’s Union President, a food and chain store giant company in Taiwan.
