When Alexis said, "I blame both of you for killing my son", Krystle should have said, "Why you miserable bitch!!" and pushed her into the swimming pool!! The lily pond looks creepy here, no water or water movement, it reminds me of the creature in the lake in "Creepshow 2", just sitting there still, waiting for an unsuspecting victim to go by.

Nice parallels (foreshadow?) of their famous lilypond fight later in the season. Both scenes start in the library, begin with Fallon and Alexis in conversation, involve Alexis peeking at Krystle through the window and end with a waterside confrontation between them both. Nice!

I had to watch this twice to figure out Joan’s and the editor’s herky-jerky/ left to right head spasm choice. I think it was meant to convey defiance, a clear NO in terms of subtext and body language, but in terms of tv history, the scene is nothing but grade A camp. I guess that’s okay too, but she’s shaking her head so much, it’s knocked out my left contact lense.

Oh Alexis - you had a swimming pool and a pond at your disposal and not one shove! I guess grief makes the mind wander.

Krystle was the bigger woman. She didn't let Alexis drag her down into her drama nor did she just stand there and take it. I think on some level she realized how MISERABLE Alexis really was. When I was a kid, I thought she was just mean for the hell of it. But as a adult, I see a lonely, aging, miserable woman who took out her frustrations on everyone else. All of that money and power and she STILL never seemed happy. With all her bread, I would have probably forgotten my ex's name - LOL!

I like the way that Krystle handled this, sweet, but honest and direct.

Krystle was a class act n extended Alexis much leeway in her time of mourning/grief......wld not have been me....I wld have told her "Bitch, u abandoned your children 16yrs ago, at an age where they needed her the most n now you want to play the grieving mother..... get out of my face and my house!!!"....i applauded Krystle for the self-discipline to walk away.

The woman who was directly responsible for Krystle's miscarriage is hurt about Krystle's not-even-slight involvement in Alexis' son's death. Man, I love the 80's.

So, basically, Alexis went through the loss of 3 children, including 2 deaths, and still managed to remain a glamorous scheming woman. I think I would have been too devastated... But of course, the storylines must continue!

Was never an Alexis fan , always been a Krystle fan myself , she was the calming infulence on the show. Alexis always blamed everyone else for everything and was the root of all the problems in the Carrington family

Never was a Krystle fan but i absolutely adored Alexis. She was breathtakingly beautiful and she was always dressed to perfection. This show was my guilty pleasure in the 80's.
