Is this safe?

My macbook pro restarted to a black screen that says “No bootable device insert boot disk and press any key” i did everything step by step but and i have my usb drive connected to my labtop that has all the window files installed on it. What am i doing wrong ?

I'm stuck I made it threw all the steps but when it comes to the partition part of it there's no option that says windows 7 or later

I haven’t seen this in the comments,so I’ll ask. I decided to use Windows 8.1. Is that OK? I get into Windows setup, enter my product key, and get a screen that asks where I want to install Windows. It gives me four choices. Drive 0 partition 1 which is only 200 mb. Then Drive 0 partition 2 which appears to be my Mac partition. Then Drive 0 partition 3 which is only 619mb. Finally, Drive 0 partition 4 BOOTCAMP which is the size of the Windows partition which BOOTCAMP formatted as msdos. It says Windows can’t be installed on Disk 0. When I click on details, it says “Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks.”

Hi there, I have a Macbook Pro 2011 late (i7, SSD HD). I followed the tutorial. In my case, I have downloaded Windows 8.1 iso instead of windows 7 (my boot camp assistant shows windows 8.1 as an option). The thing is my boot USB flash is not working (tried USB 3.0 and also 2.): No bootable device -- insert book disk and press any key. Even reseting system + pressing the option, it stucks on the same point. Anyone knows what to do

One of my friends has Windows 10 on his 2008 Macbook Core 2 Duo, but I never got around to getting the function keys working, do you think you know how to get the function keys working, I got everything else working, the audio ports, practically almost every driver except for the function keys including right click

When creating the bootable thumbdrive, everytime I get the message that there isn't enough space on the drive. I even went up to a 128Gb drive, still get the same message/error!

Thank you for this lovely tutorial, perhaps the best one in the market - I do have a question though, at step 4 it keeps asking me to insert windows disc first which I don't have as its not recognising the usb bootable drive as a windows install disk - the usb is also named as install - any idea?
