The only thing I hated about death parade was how that couple was sent to hell/nothingness for no reason, along with one or two others because of a misunderstanding. Imagine being sentenced to eternal damnation because of a mistake someone else made.
ОтветитьShiki is another.
ОтветитьEpisode 11;Ice Skating Scene. I was told many times that this anime made a lot of people cry, but I didn't at the time when I watched this(since I was young at that time) so I gave it another try.
At the beginning to the middle of the series, I still didn't get emotional. I did cry seeing the mother(the dead single mother), but I am sensitive to the mother feeling.
But then I watched this episode. Was definitely not a sad scene but I cried and cried. Nothing sad looking but it was so sad and beautiful. Why?
Because I was so envious of Chiyuki finding out who she was. Because she looked so beautiful and happy finding her true self. Because that is something I will never and could ever do.
Because I could never act it out, because I don't know that feeling. Will I, will I ever look that way when I die and remember myself?
I was so envious that she 'knows' herself. I felt so tragically sad that I could only be the audience of this beautiful performance.
This anime was actually boring as hell and really tiring to watch
ОтветитьThis anime touch my heart

ОтветитьThis masterpiece was 'my first finished anime' and I always tell people about it. I don't really remember what happened in the anime but I still feel what I felt at first when I watched. It's beautiful and sad. I'm thanking from the very bottom of my hearth to all the people made this anime, music. <3

Ответить🤧🤧🤧🤧😢😢😢😭😭😭😭
ОтветитьMan, I will always describe this anime as how I genuinely felt after finishing it the first time - It's definitely an experience. Every episode is fantastic, some perhaps better than others... But every single one is truly a work of art and masterfully done. I just wish it was more widely known, though maybe it's a good thing it's not - for if it were more popular they would milk it for all its worth, diluting what made the first season special. It's sad that it's only 1 season, but at the same time I wouldn't have it any other way
ОтветитьPerfect...
ОтветитьI did not watch this Anime but this piece is just so beautiful that I can't help but get back to it. Just wonderful

ОтветитьHaven’t seen this show yet, but I guess it’s time for me to watch it now
ОтветитьI'm crying so much right now, I just this song matches my emotions so well it's so sad yet understanding in a way I can't explain, it's like nobody else in this world would understand you but this song.
ОтветитьJust watched this on Hulu, found it quite by accident. The show was incredible - very deep and poignant.
ОтветитьI finished rewatching this for the third time just days ago. The first time I ever watched this show, I remember not feeling emotional at all during any episodes. I rewatched it for the first time a couple years later. Again, I never felt like crying. I felt emotional, sure, but never to the extent of crying. The second time I rewatched it was just over a year ago. That time I cried several times; during the bowling one, video game one, air hockey, and of course the final episodes hit harder way more than before.
When I rewatched it less than a week ago, I cried at every "game" episode, including Death Billiards. I'd never even felt emotional during the darts one, but for some reason it resonated with me a lot more this time round. Every other episode hit just as hard too. I never really cared for Mayu and Harada as characters, but I still cried when they played their game, and even when they'd finally been judged. Ginti genuinely considered reincarnating them both, but decided against it when he heard Mayu tell him how Harada was her life. He lost respect for her, which is why he changed his decision in the end. Not to mention Suicide Tour. That episode completely destroyed me. The way Decim breaks down, the way his eyes change to reflect him briefly becoming human, the desperation on Chiyuki's face as she begs Decim to press the button for her, only for him to reveal it was all a lie, and of course the genuine smile he gives as Chiyuki is sent for reincarnation.
Over the past 4 years, I've matured as a person, evident in my emotional changes every time I watch this show. It's a show I treasure deeply as the first anime I ever watched to make me so much as tear up, let alone cry. I wish I could forget ever watching this way back when, and watch it for the first time with my matured vision, so I can truly experience this masterpiece for what it's worth. This show needs to be remembered, and everyone should watch it at some point. Not only is it just a great show, but it poses many moral dilemmas and raises agendas about humans and the way we think.
I'm not a religious person, and I don't believe in purgatory, heaven, or hell. But I believe that there's something waiting for us when we die. I don't know what it would be, but all I hope is that it is something like Quindecim. A place where I can be judged fairly for my sins to determine if I can re-live, or be cast away forever.
If anyone is still reading this, and you somehow stumbled across this video without ever having watched Death Parade, I would highly recommend you give it a try. It might be slow, but it has to be in order to generate the serious tone throughout. If you think the first episode is a little slow, I would then recommend you watch up to episode 3, where the second game takes place. That's where my interest was piqued the first time I watched this, and I'm sure it will draw most people in by then too. What have you got to lose? 24 minutes of your time if you only watch the first episode, and just over an hour if you watch the first three episodes before deciding it's not worth it. What have you got to gain? A wonderful experience; you get to watch this show with no knowledge of what happens later, free from spoilers, and able to bask in the glory of one of, if not, the most emotional and most well put-together shows I've ever seen. The show has a perfect blend of comedy, commentary on humanity, and seriousness to create a complicated mix of emotions for the viewer to feel.
This show is perfect, no matter how you look at it. This song always brings a tear to my eye, no matter the circumstance. Maybe it's because I know the context behind it, but even so.
I'm sorry for all this, but I just wanted to share my experience with strangers in the hopes of making at least one person interested in the series. I wish that whoever sees this lives a happy and fulfilled life, for those are the lives that Decim respects...
This was one of my friend's favorite anime. I remember bonding with him over how it made both of us cry. He died a couple years ago. Sometimes I come back to this song to remember him. I wish it didn't cut as deep as it does. We only knew each other for two years before losing touch, but he mattered to me. I wish I could tell him that he mattered.
ОтветитьI miss the 12 episodes anime that can give you a whole new life or make you doubt your existence again, these anime were so precious and deep, short but full of life , death parade, violet evergarden, erased, barakuman, my roommate is a cat, iniyushiki, angel of death, babylon ! and others ...
