My kneejerk reaction when clicking on this video was that this was the dumbest fucking product I've ever seen. After watching through the review and seeing all the features I can conclude that... I was right.

This is a gimmicky, overpriced product that solves a problem that no one has. As you noted, you can buy shower heads for a fraction of the price of this "smart" head that still offers the same water saving properties. The LED indicator could easily be replaced with a timer on your phone to remind you to finish up. For temperature sensing, you can just use your hand like everyone has done for the past 150 years. And I guarantee no one will look at the stats in the app after the first week of installing it.

To be clear, I'm not a luddite. I understand and appreciate the benefits of IOT and "smart" tech. But this is just an excuse to stick tech into places where it doesn't belong in order to justify a ludicrous price tag.
