Unfortunately what you dont mention is that EXIF data can be modified without laeving any forensic trace. So is useless in any legal setting unless you are using it to prove that EXIF data has been modified. For example is accused or defendant enters a pic into evidence and picture is of of a higher quality than the camera on phone listed in EXIF data

Is it possible to find icc date/time of original picture from a screenshot uploaded in instagram by another iphone user? I came across some images that claim to identify the icc date/ time of a screenshot uploaded on instagram . I want to know if those icc date/time are edited or not.
