Canyon Spectral On CF-8 has been amazing and trouble free for 1200 miles and only $4700....I can't imagine paying 14K for an EMTB?! Why? They will all DIE before you get your monies worth at those prices.....

still using 1st generation yamaha motor and 1st generation bosch motor on my mountain bikes and still enjoy them very much .so id take the current yamaha or bosch systems on my new bike

Right the elephant in the room question. Which motor is more reliable, on full powered e-bikes. Has data been compiled on factory or shop returns for a new motor. All my mates have e-bikes, and we all have our motors replaced within 9 month.

Bafang M820 can't wait to see more bikes with this motor. I have a frame coming with it. Hopefully it will be a worth while purchase.

Hope TQ starts releasing some higher power stuff. The HPR50 is incredible with how natural it feels on my Fuel EXe, but definitely on the lower power side.

The Pinion MGU System was a notable admission in this lineup. It has to be a game changer for the future of EMTB's going forward. Just makes sense and is technology matched for the power output that these bikes now have. Rather than a lame adaptation of existing technology and engineering.
