Cool Peach tree story. A old timer had big peach tree and for 3 years in a row the tree put out small tasteless peaches. So in early spring he went to the peach tree with a baseball bat and whacked the tree 10-15 times. That year the biggest juices peaches were put out by the tree. It's called "Shocking " your fruit tree...

Nectarine are the same as peaches BUT are grafted when grown up with plums that is why nectarines are hairless

One good thing about growing trees from seed in the ground is you will have a tap root.

What average sized person has
1 1/2" thumbs? This video made me measure mine and they're 2 3/4".😅
I've always wanted a peach tree but I live in zone 5b and was told it was to cold for them here (east-central Indiana) in the winter.

What is your accent? I can’t get a hold of what it is. Sometimes it sounds Irish and sometimes it sounds Scottish, and sometimes it sounds Dutch or something.

I planted my first peach and apple trees dwarf.....low and behold a tomato plant starts growing at the base of the apple tree... now with it has small plum tomatoes! There must have been a seed or seeds in the roots from the nursery! Point being...you cant stop Mother Nature..

I used branch clippers then my teeth to crack the outer shell and it worked very well vs just tree trimmers. My trimmers were too sharp and sliced two in half. Had one that was already sprouting so that was cool. The pits were small for the small peaches I found. They were tiny but good.

Peaches and almonds are in the same family hence why peach pits look like dark, spiky almond shells and almonds themselves resemble peach kernels. Basically, one evolved flesh and the other a shell.
