Thunderbolt and oculink carry 4 lane pcie connections - not 8 lanes. Your videos states that thunderbolt and oculink are “pcie x8”. This is incorrect. They are pcie x4.

Has anyone tried using it for VR with the UM780 XTX? I've noticed that by itself the UM780 XTX can do some low end VR, depending on which PCVR game is being played.

Gosh..such a High Price..Thev Minisforum HX100G is a far better bargain than this with the RX6650 GPU including the Ryzen CPU!!

Price level just does not meet the average consumer, a grand in Canada or more, eGPU are not worth the effort, just buy a bigger GPU or APU in your PC....instead of adding hardware after the fact...!!!

Wow, this is really promising device. Now if you have a laptop that is 2nd generations old or even third gen old, you dont have to buy new laptop to run game. Just buy this type of egpu. Now the price is high which is really understandable but 3 or 4 yrs from now if many companies are in this kind of device, the price might be more compelling to gamers

In any of your videos regarding mini pcs and egpu there is one very important piece of information missing. What are the supported Refresh rates of the Ports (display and HDMI), because it is useless having a beefy mini pc but unable to use 165Hz or 240Hz efresh Rate with the attached screens.
