Spearmint is desi mint?

I grow mint in pots :
- To use the leaves to make "Nems", Vietnamese spring rolls.
- I make mint syrup. I mix the syrup with milk for the kids and with vodka for the grown ups. Everybody enjoys it.

Can you do air pruning to your mint plant?

Lol mint will not take over your yard, yes it’s very invasive but don’t be afraid to plant in ground, just keep the roots away from any other plants and regularly prune

So I made the mistake of planting a mint plant in a raised bed with some other herbs. Rookie mistake. Pretty soon the mint was suffocating the other plants. Took me an entire day to carefully dig out all the plants, remove every mint runner in the soil, re-plant the other herbs, and transplant the mint to several containers using cuttings. Luckily none of my other plants suffered any shock and now they can breath again. The mint is doing great too but with nowhere to go.
