Would've liked to see how combat and abilities work with the gamepads.

The later part where you let steam input to take over from DS sense does not have too much value because you lost the Haptic experience which consequently you did not mention in the video.

That is such a odd bug that having your PlayStation controller enabled in the steam settings would be causing the problem. Mouse and keyboard is 100% the best way to play this game but it's nice I now have the option to lean back in my chair and just chill with a controller if I want to thanks for the help.

When I disable PS input option, I get the butons inputs ingame, but, the rumble does not work. I have rumble with the A,B,X,Y button layout with steam input enabled. any thoughts?

I like that implementation! I mean we are in 2023 and Games should be released on multiple platforms and when you play it on mobile with a controller hooked up to your device then it’s even more important to have a proper controller support for pc games more than ever. Not all devices in the gaming world have mouse and keyboard. Well not all games have to implement that, but they should not wonder if I don’t buy them when they don’t care about that. And it’s imo an indicator for good game design when multiple input Schemas are supported and you can switch between them with ease. Respect to the baldurs gate 3 devs ✊

The controller support is decent enough for movement. The problem is, you have to rely on crappy hotwheel UI instead of the normal hotbar you'd get when using mouse and keyboard.

I dont like the aesthetics of the wheels i. Bg3. I actually found myself preferring to play DoS2 on the switch, due to how the controller works in that game.
