I think Anchorite can replace Scartosis. Will 6* him next for this. Has 2 debuff clense with buff extension. But at the time he uses clense, it should not hurt us, right?

I managed to beat him because of your Skartosis suggestion,;) , my team UDK, morrigaine,tatura,uuko and skartosis, his increase rate ,increase attack before changing and clean after was the key, no masteries or books for him, thanks

If you don’t have morrigane’s permanent heal reduction, you can place decrease attack on Amius, and block debuffs on your team just before Amius changes back into normal form, and he will A3 first when he changes, you’ll block the stun, and you can put heal reduction up before he then does his normal form A2 heal…

I thought Katonn still needs accuracy to place Heal Reduction. Only buff removal part is unresistable?

On both rotations i have done this, throwing out some irrelevant buff to get him to switch into a2 and a3 as i cannot survive his a1 machine-gun

I used Arbiter, Uuko, UDK, Blizzard, and Ratking. You don't even need heal reduction if you have damage and staying power. Since all of those champs, except Arbiter, had special events to give you Red Stars it increased their staying power. My Blizzard and UDK each have 4 stars. They keep the team alive while Bombs, Poison and Smite burn down the boss.

If you don't have Morrigaine another decent champion for heal reduction is Suzerain Katonn - still a legendary but his heal is a 100% chance to place heal reduction.

So what are the rewards for beating the boss?

You might have mentioned it and I just missed it, but it is important that UDK (or the tank you are choosing) has the lowest HP. The only other way to avoid someone else being hit is if you have taunt. Taunt can help force the boss to do the cleanse first in the healing form if it is still up so you have to be careful.

I only have suzerain for heal reduction. Considering he is 4 CD not reduceable, what speed would you run him at?

I don't have Morrigaine so I leveled up Old Ghrukkus. The only problem is... I apply his 2 turn heal reduction when Amius is on 2 turn eclipse. (without masterhexer or lasting gifts) When its amius turn, the applied poisons and the eclipse buff drop to 1 turn duration. The heal reduction and decrease attack however don't. Amius then proceeds to do his turns, the poison debuffs expire and he transforms the other two into increase attack and continouous heal... has to be some sort of bug, no`? finally I managed to rebuild a team to take down Amius. Thank you, Saph, this team combo was flawless. I wish it just wouldn't take us so much silver to regear everyone.

I remember when I was really new to the game, I had Artak as my main source of damage in arena and was super lucky and got an Elva early on. I had fought some okay UDKs before, but getting Elva allowed me to push out of the lower arena levels and start going for gold medals. I will never forget the first time I ran into an actually tanky UDK with my team. It turned into a 4v1 and thanks to Elva's passive, the UDK was healing for like 10% of it's health every time I took a turn. Literally could not kill the stupid thing because my team was on the tankier/wear the enemy down side of the damage scale simply due to not having a true nuker champ. I swore never again and avoided UDKs like the plague for a long time...

Now I have a Georgid and go UDK hunting for some sweet, sweet revenge!

Using Archbishop instead of Morrigaine but Amius keeps doing Lunar storm first and performing turns out of order.

i did this boss with udk, morrigaine, gnishak, uugo and uuko, i had to put rat and morrigaine in regen gear to survive

Dead rotation for me as I have no heal reduction champ. I attempted with the roster I have and went to the 1500 turn limit, twice. Challenge that.

can do doom tower hard can't do this guy on normal cheap garbage skips turns does 100k crits on normal really lame mechanics just so whales have a challenge

very good guide. I did see Hakkhorn on someone beating Amius on the first day it was unlocked. I knew he would be great for this fight. Then i leveled him during this madness of a hero's path. I'll be using him in the future, cleanse and heal is too valuable for Cursed city.

how much acc for the heal reduction to land ?

have u seen the strat where ambassador lethelin can direct the attack by selecting who gets the taunt? saw it from another cc.

Saph, my man! Just beat Anus thanks to your Godseeker suggestion! I subbed out my Gnishak for her and did it first attempt pretty much. My team was UDK, Blizaar, Morrigaine, Cardiel, and Godseeker. Best part is that I didn't have to change any masteries this time! 😊

will there be an option in the optimiser for rotation 2?

This kind of battle is so convoluted and drawn out it is just not fun for me

I am sure if I put all my silver and had the patients to regear champs, I would be able to do this. But I have no patients to regear so I probably will not be doing this.
Last rotation I somehow did the normal but didn't even bother with the hard Amius. Probably do the same this rotation. I just don't like this boss at all. He is annoying.

i have all the pieces but not the gears lmao!!

I cleared most stages on hard in the last rotation but couldn't kill Amius in normal. I'll try again this rotation as I have a 5 star UDK** and just got Godseeker. I don't have the other champs though. I'll try to find substitutes but considering it is a long and manual fight, I can't see putting much effort into it with so much else to do.

** I started when UDK was the logon champ. He carried me through so much content as a new player, it was crazy. Probably warped my progression and sense of the game. That also means I don't have any of the other free champs prior to that, nor those fusions. Keep in mind that those free things from long ago don't really help players that are "only" a year or two into the game, or less.

I did It with Tatura, UDK, Ma'Shalled, Ukko, Arbiter. Perfect veil force him to hit Tatura whit his A1

@HHGamingNetwork I found a champ that has a VERY Reliable Heal Reduction. Bone Knight (Rare) can keep it up 100% of the time if you wanted.

this boss is complete garbage, I dont even want to think what he does, he does too much, and manual half an hour...
