I have a question, how do CNN's "learn"? Do they use backprop to to change the filters in the convolutional layers and also to update weights in the dense layers or how do they learn images?

Very good visualization! But I've got a doubt. Is there practically any difference between the red and green colors? I mean, for example, does the network contain negative values in red areas and positive values in the green area?
