When I saw original Star Wars trilogy fans hate the new woke trilogy and get dissed by the shills, it was like Command and Conquer 3 and onwards all over again.

I just gotta vent, there's this bug that thousands of people have posted about in the sims in regards to the weight system, and got banned for asking for help on the EA help forums.

My gripe is EA Madden is the only official football developer and losing 2k football games.

Wow 91 hours a week! Blue collar workers like.... that's it??!?! Lol. And no I'm not saying they are weak for it. I'm saying we need fair treatment for the blue collars as well. They tend to be the forgotten ones in society.

I've actually heard some really good things about the way they treat their employees (perhaps as a result of the class action suit), but #1 and #2 are absolutely true and unacceptable. I doubt I'll be playing any future EA titles any time soon unless EA changes their business practices.

The problem with the Lenny analogy was that he genuinely did not mean harm. He was simply too strong and too mentally deficient for his own good. His downfall was a white (if I recall right) platation owner's wife - who didn't really want to be married in the first place I seem to recall, and thought to "spend time" with Lenny, to make her husband jealous... which was a dangerous game no matter how one looks at the racial issues laid forth. He was eventually shot and slain by his smaller, smarter best friend. As a mercy killing; to save him being lynched by a gathered mob. Which rather put the onus in his awareness of what he was doing, and the fact that it might be for the best - but it both simultaneously cost him an albatross AND his own best friend, on Sam. You can argue whether or not because of the times it was written it was a commentary in opinion of the dangers of interracial entanglements, but the end result is someone that was fully aware of the fact his brutishly large, gentle hearted and simple minded friend was not able to control his own raw power, had to kill him because of that fact. Had to bear that cross, and live with it's guilt. Even as it broke a promise he made to Lenny's family, whom he also if I recall right, respected. [I am not sure how many of us would be all that guilty if EA went down, or who'd feel badly, is what I'm saying]

Run overlong, the point being: If we wait long enough, EA will take a franchise or a dev we all value, respect and love - and they'll kill it. Whether they mean to or not. Then those of us with the intelligence to see what is wrong will vote entirely with our wallets... and we might just sink them as a company. But it's still going to cost us something we value in the doing. In the end, I'm not sure it could be argued we would be the abyss or the monster to come out of it. We would not be the tyrants... but then, EA didn't start that way. To play devil's advocate, are we any better than they are, if we shrug and say... there will always be another publisher. Another developer. When we lose one we love? It might be true enough, but it's still cold hearted. They won't learn if they have a core audience that keeps paying for the games they want regardless. And we will lose a fairly large channel to that outlet, if they do go under. So really at the end of the day, ask yourself - which is more worth the cost?

* I do want to note I did not in any way intend to actually advocate for EA here, and I am as surprised as any of you here. There is the problem of a Pyrrhic victory as remains however. Which at this point may very well be what the Hydra EA has become is entirely dependant upon to stay the angry torches.

EA is like Unicron. Devouring Planets just for his appetite. But for EA they consume it to make money. Rushing the process isn't always the key to a good game and now here we are..Modern Games still suffers from this predicament

"ea wanted this developed to do so well...." I don't think you could be more wrong on that one. Video games turned in to a business and the publishers put quarterly increases and stockholders above the art of video games.

EA used to be good back then, I liked their classic games but their current games are too p2p like pvz 2 later worlds, pvzh and so on.

Itd simple they arnt a game company. These guys got in as buisness men to sell sports games. They and their investors do not and never have understood video games and their popularity, pure and simple.

They like many legacy groups, consider scifi, and fantasy to be for nerds and to not sell. They are the Fox of video games.

But honestly I have more hatred towards Activision old activion had a great tracrecord. But that all changes once they merge with vivindi who were allways pieces of crap. They became the number one murderer of game dev studios.

They also gaslight their players when you criticise their game or something bad happen to their game.

EA's business model:
1. Find and purchase a promising, smaller game company with some good Intellectual property.
2. Use the newly acquired game IP to release games targeted towards maximum profit.
3. Once the game has been milked dry, and all fans have given up on it, abandon the game.
4. Take all profits and repeat.

EA were the sht in the 90s.Great games. Since I used to love EA sports games which was endless fun compared to arcades machine which cost a fortune. If they had a subscription service based to excellent fifa masses and nhl titles I would pay but those times are done so I'll just keep playing madden 09 and fifa 13

I still use Deluxe Paint. Just for gits and shiggles really, but it shaped the future of Amiga graphics.
