Fallout 4 Resource DUPLICATION GLITCH // Easy Item Duplication Glitch in FALLOUT 4

For those who say it doesn’t work, it’s probably because they seemed to have changed how pressing scrap works

Now just pressing and holding scrap does nothing, it only brings up the scrap menu when you let go of X

So instead of this try pressing X and then letting go, then pushing accept and store a microsecond after. I was almost ready to say this was patched till I turned 14 gold into 28 gold myself tbh. Just keep at it till you get the timing, I know you can do it if you practice enough 😁👍

For Ps5 It is a bit different but very simple. Drop what you want to duplicate and press square then x and o at the same time if only one window pops up press cancel however If two windows pop up your doing it right. One the two windows pop up release release x and accept well holding down o. Hope this helps

I'm sure y'all figured it out by now, but... for the stacking issue, pick the items up and drop them again, they will be in one stack. Also this might help make duping easier, for me I press square with my left thumb then a split second later I press circle with my right thumb. Continue to hold circle and release square. If 2 boxes are up I hit x to scrap then again to store while holding circle. This works with any item that can be scrapped. -on ps4 btw.

Try slowing down your inputs, also make sure when you have the double menu to not let go of store and hit accept twice to both scrap and store, still works for sure 11-25-23

14 nov 23 and it still works. been doing this glitch since the game came out. 1 tip not mentioned in the video that after you do the duplication you need to grab what you just duped toss it on the ground and pick it back up so it is in one stack. if not it will go down in as many stacks as you tossed it before the duplication. for example i had 4 adhesive and since you have to have 6 or more to be a stack. i tossed down for individual adhesives, did the glitch, and then went and grabbed my 8 adhesives from the workshop. when i tossed the 8 down it went down as 4 individuals again. so i picked them back up and tossed them down 1 more time and it went down as a single stack. Pro Tip (yes i stole Neebs' line. LOL)

My tab key on my keyboard quit working after trying this glitch. Lol wtf

It works. press only square (for practice step 1) and try to anticipate at which timing the "do you wanna scrap" window pops up. If you rhythm-gamed that, press and hold(!) circle at exactly the "scrap window pop up" timing (which you get after pressing square). If you see both windows, you did it, press x while still holding circle.

This glitch is so easy, got it down within a minute. If you scrap first then hit (AND HOLD) store it worked every time.

What are the buttons for pc for scrap-accept-store?

There’s is no point of this at all

It took me a while to figure it out but I have it working about 90% of the time 😂
I use the left side of my thumb to hit the square, then immediately roll my thumb down and around to the x and circle, letting the side of my thumb slide off the square. Hope that makes sense and helps someone. The timing is super strict. I have the hang of it now but I'm not sure how else to explain it to anyone, it's just a rolling motion from the square, to x, to circle. That seems to be the easiest way for me on ps4.

Hey, it worked for me 4 times with some screws, but now it won't. And anything I try, it won't either. I'm confused, should I reload a save?

I’m telling you it just doesn’t work I tried it for an hour in so many different ways the comments said the store menu is prioritized so that millisecond trick doesn’t work because if you open store it will prioritize that and close scrap or if you do it late scrap will close the store menu

07/07/23, Still works!

Note: Press Scrap, X (Xbox), let go, and that millisecond after, press and hold store, B (Xbox). Both windows will pop up and just say yes to both.

This also gets you infinite xp, after you duplicate enough materials you can constantly build turrets for example and get the xp then just scrap them and repeat.

I'd suggest maxing intelligence first and using a buildable that gives you 35xp each. I've got like 15 levels in 30 minutes from this.

Can anyone please confirm if this glitch still works for PS5 in March 2023?

My only issue with this exploit is that as items multiply they don't fall into a single pile, but several. It's been rather annoying having to pick up all the scraps and potentially losing some of them because the game won't clump them together

I was about to give up until I tried it slightly differently...

On PS4, press the square then instantly press the X and O at the same time and don't let go. Then follow the video's instructions, as long as you can see 1 window over the other, and let go of X first leaving you with the 'store' option. Despite the item having already been scrapped.

How do you drop items in one bulk go? I have 5 gears but need more. When I click drop , it's dropping them one at a time?

I figured it out, you need to press the buttons in that order, but you need to release scrap before you press store, only release scrap, then release accept after you finish the glitch
