ОтветитьBeef Nihari is my family's favorite dish.
ОтветитьNo PORK in Bible.
ОтветитьIve never seen someone make naan on cast iron grill pan like that, I dont eat beef but that naan looks phenomenal
ОтветитьGood looking food Chef. Can I ask, do you use Tej Pata?
ОтветитьThis was a dish created in old Delhi during the time of the Muslim kings... it's still made in Delhi with "beef" which is really ox or water Buffalo since beef is technically illegal to eat due to Hindu religious beliefs.
ОтветитьNihari is a beef or buffalo dish . You can make it with other meats but then it’s not really nihari
ОтветитьOmg nihari with garlic naan and cilantro lemon chillies and lemon on top is sooooop good
ОтветитьAs a Pakistani who has been trying for months to get the right spice mix from scratch -- I commend you on this recipe!!! The Nihari masala mix is spot on for a home cook. The only place I take issue with the steps is that it's missing the step of caramelizing the onions. It's really a critical piece of achieving the depth of flavor in the broth. But honestly -- thank you so much for publishing this recipe! I wanted my toddler to be able to enjoy this -- but off-the-shelf mixes are too spicy. You mix is spot-on with the ability to eliminate the heat completely.
ОтветитьPronounced Hindu-stAn(like the ending of flan). Pakistan is also pronounced like the ending of 2pac(Pak-istan) and the ending of flan(an).
ОтветитьWhy do you have to mix the mouth and throat noises? Otherwise great stuff :)
ОтветитьThanks Ethan. I've been watching you for a while and this will probably be the first dish I will make from your channel :) If I wanted to use, let's say, lamb shank and oxtail, how many kilos would I use?
ОтветитьI love how you mention India and Pakistan together while mentioning these dishes.
ОтветитьRoti call * Ruined Roti * most of the time we feed ruined roti to our Goats Cows or dumped in Dumpster
ОтветитьSoon as i saw that stach ..woosh I'm out
ОтветитьLooks amazing bro, 10/10
ОтветитьYou need to visit Bangladesh and try our version of Nihaari
ОтветитьYou’ve been improving your pronunciations!
ОтветитьAside being mma fighhter, paul felder is a good cook
ОтветитьNihari tacos🙌🏽
ОтветитьLet’s get this guy an Indian visa asap
Ответитьbest intro
ОтветитьNihari made by a Bihari is a dish very karari served to a woman in a saree , after she gives you a smile very piari 😊.
ОтветитьYou forgot to put on the fried onions
ОтветитьYeah Bro,,Pakistani Nihari rockssss.
Ответить"communal hands on fashion" so a bowl?
ОтветитьI'm from the hometown of Nihari in India - The city of Lucknow. 🥲
ОтветитьYou made it so scientific and educated us Pakistanis about the choice of meat cut. It is one of the difficult curries to make
ОтветитьIt's better to say Desi (India+pak+Bangladesh) bread instead of Indian breads because almost all this originated from British Colony India
ОтветитьBetter with beef shank and the bone marrow
ОтветитьFirst of all this recipe is American version doesn’t taste like original Nihari no concept of yogurt in nihari secondly u missed main ingredient dry ginger
ОтветитьNo, Nihari main component or meat is Beef & particularly shank. Yes u can use chicken mutton lamb etc
Btw a bowl serves better instead flat plate.
just a correction here. Nihari is originally made with Beef tenderloin and is more popular in Pakistan unlike in India where beef is prohibited hence they make it mostly with mutton or lamb. all the footage being used in your video is also from Pakistan. these days Nihari is become more adaptable and can be even cooked with chicken but the original dish is beef based. just to put this in context... sheperd's pie is made with lamb and not beef or else it needs to be called cottage pie. hope this is helpful.
ОтветитьIt's national dish of Pakistan 🇵🇰 i really loved you cooked it❤
ОтветитьDamn!
ОтветитьBro, Nihari to us in Pakistan is like what is cheeseburger to an American. It's usually 90% cooked with beef and 10% chicken. I have never seen one in lamb or goat in Pakistan at least.
ОтветитьFrom Pakistan
Do u guys ever thought about why the Sub-Continent have so less diseases and other problems?
Its because of Spices.
In winter nothing beats it
ОтветитьGod to a Pakistani restaurant and just eat Nahari there. ✅✅
ОтветитьGreat recipe... Lovely
ОтветитьI am from Lucknow India, where this dish originated from , you are no where close to Nahari. Its all messed up ... Also Nahari is severed with Kulcha or Khameeri Roti and never with naan..
ОтветитьBihari is delicios! It's also the muslim sect my familt follows.
ОтветитьNihari looks like soup but haleem is even more thicker it’s more delicious especially the one in Dhaka city it’s so darn spicy and delicious
ОтветитьNahari?
