i had a Citroen C4 Coupe with the TU5JP4 engine 1.6 16v i changed the crankshaft sensors 4 times and i checked the injection spark plugs fuel pump fuel rail all seems good but i was constrained to put the car on a junkyard no one can solve that problem even with new and original crankshaft sensors

Hi there.. I hope you can see my comment. 🙏. is this can happen in all type of cars? like Subaru 2002 h6 3.0?. And by the way, recently I had trouble with mine Subaru as I said.h6.. got overheating. because a hose broke and it split water all over the engine.. in the first time, suddenly stops and then I let it cool down for about 10 minutes and it started again I drove it again for less than 5 minutes and it stop it again and let it cool down again and turns on again, and then I drove it for around 3 minutes I guess. and I stopped that was in the way to work .by that time has 0 water.. that was in the morning so in the afternoon. I proceeded to refill with water so I noticed there was a huge leaking through a hose underneath the air intake.. so I guess I made a big mistake later on. I decided to drive it again without any water... because I couldn't leave it at work So I drove it again for about 10-15 minutes and then got overheating again, but I never let it get to the red line. And then I stopped by myself turn it off let it cool down letting the fan keep working. After about 10-15 minutes when it gets cold I drove it again for about another probably 8 to 10 minutes when I saw temperature was increasing again, I stopped. As I mentioned before never let it get to the Red line... And had it opend switch for fan working. An emergency lights on. So after about 15 minutes letting it cool down, I turn it on again and didn't went on . so right away lights started lower and lower as I said I haved the emergency lights on so,...... So after pulling it with friends help, few hours later,. I make it into the shop where I let it parked.. later on a third day I fixed the hose broken and I started on and didn't want to, so no start. What I noticed right away the headlights didn't turn on and inside dash lights nothing...... Can you tell me if that overheating affects not only the crankshaft? Could affect other sensors, or relays or even the The computer?. Any tips and info, welcome thank you 🙏.......

Greetings, I own a 1993 C3500 7.4 Truck & I cannot locate the crankshaft Position Sensor (CKG).
I've seen references of between Harmonic Balancer & Timing Cover, in the Block above the oil pan, back of the block, or inside the Distributor. I've looked carefully, no loom wires, no port in timing cover, & I replaced the OEM Distributor with new OEM unit.
Vehicle timing set to 4 degrees before TDC. Verified all spark plug & fuel inj.
Vehicle starts, stalls, back fires.

Always buy the oem part

Good information about the starting symptoms that I haven't seen elsewhere. My 2007 Chrysler T&C had trouble starting hot two or three times. I assumed the starter was going. There were no codes. Then today it threw a P0017 and started running bad - almost stalling out every time I came to a stop and responding slowly to the accelerator pedal. Will check the sensor tomorrow, but it seems quite likely. So I'm guessing the starting hot issues can be an early warning.

I need help with my e60. When I plug in sensor the 5 volts goes down to 2.5v.
It's got good 12v power and good ground from dme.
I tried to see any volt drop with a ociloscope. I tried 3 different sensors and 2 different dme.
