Valheim: 5 Easy Ways To Improve Your Starter Home

My first house didn't even had wall, not talking about windows.

This is all really cool. But, without cheating, doing something like this is going to take a very long time.

How do you fly around? A mod? That would make building so much easier.

I don't do much in the way of fancy builds myself but I do appreciate it and seeing what's possible in the game. All good techniques here. Next playthrough I may even try getting fancier, who knows.

How much wood does it cost?

It's pretty for sure, but when you're in building mode you don't have to worry about collecting the resources. To me it seems like function would be more important than form when resources take so much time to collect and maintain in normal game play. Then again I don't have the time to play like I used to.

What mod are you using for your camera angles?(like the ones in the intro and when you showed the dimensions of the building) I would like to know so I can improve my Valheim building videos.

looks good. although I wouldn't recommend spending too much resources if you're just building a starter home. functionalities comes first and then, you can improvise and improve your home as you grow. also making too much building pieces affects your fps too that's why I recommend building it near open areas near the coast and don't terraform too much.

It's always good to add a bit of flair to a home, instead of just making a box with a roof. One time I built a porch out the front of my home, that overlooked a meadow. just relaxing there while I think about my plans is more enjoyable than just standing idly indoors.

If you have a powerful computer and you don't play survival it will work but if you do play survival only and have a graphics card that came out in 2018 like me you might consider not putting up all that detail, instances would be crazy with everything else you build. It's also impractical for survival because it gets confusing sometimes.
