No doubt it’s iconic, but I’m glad it has retired and not been brought back into active duty. Leave it to watch over the game it helped mainstream

Cunts complain about d2. Please let it be a premier map! The reason why so many hate it is because everybody can play it! Everybody knows where and when to peek and that makes it challenging to a lot of players, even when better players play against 'bots' it can get heated, thats why you get the "its an awp map" or "its a W and shoot map", pros making excuses because they suck at it. Put it in to perspective.

Dust map is well known for balancing between blue and red team, I mean other map always has the slice edge for either blue or red team.

Sad to see CS:S only get about 10 seconds of coverage, that was a whole era. Also it would have been good to hear more from the creator. What does he think about Dust 2's cultural impact, did he go into the games industry, does he get royalties from all of the other versions etc.

Nice to see Dave Johnston in the video. I used to make maps for CS 1.6 as a hobby and I was so impressed by Dave's maps (Dust 1/2, Cbble). He is an absolute legend.

i got over 5000 hours on strictly 1.6 its a shame but 1.6 is nearly extinct from 100s of servers down to like 30 havent played in years even during covid no1 was playing it thats when i knew it was a wrap

Man I spent thousands of hours on the dust 2 map in counter strike source but I could not stand CS: GO worst game ever made.
