ОтветитьUnder the Greenwood Tree (TV Movie 2005)
In this lighthearted romance from Victorian novelist Thomas Hardy, the beautiful new village school teacher is pursued by three suitors: a working-class man, a landowner, and the vicar. - imdb 6.9

ОтветитьSuch a welcome love story, Fancy & Dickie. It feels like decades since a true love bond in real life happened. But it does come along ...
ОтветитьThanks for showing this
ОтветитьI saw this several years ago. Looking @ it again I think Dick is pushy.
ОтветитьMerry Christmas , not Happy Christmas
Towel, not flannel
Such a nice dog 🐕, how do people train their dogs too be like that, I hope they don't beat them
ОтветитьI have watched this twice and still love it from beginning to end.
ОтветитьThis movie was inspired by one thing: to make ua feel good. And by all means, Thank you!!! Mission accomplished 🙏. Never underestimate the power of positivity, no matter where it comes from ❤
ОтветитьSuch a wonderful Movie! The essence of it was great! "Faith, hope and love; but the greatest of this is Love!" 💕
ОтветитьWell, her father was right, misery does not strenghten marriage. Still, marrying for eating is worse.
ОтветитьI would classify this as a Romance, not a Drama. Full of tropes; a bit too predictable and tiresome for me.
ОтветитьWhat a delight!!! A beautiful story and very solid performances.❤
ОтветитьEnchanting, Thankyou 😊
ОтветитьI really enjoyed this movie... A time when life was simpler and more connected to nature. A very beautiful connection made with the greenwood tree , the seasons..
Also we cannot judge the choice Fancy Day made.. every one is different. She had her own perspective of looking at life. Everyone has different priorities.
Thank you for uploading this movie❤
Beautiful movie everything turned out happy love win out over being rich ❤
ОтветитьSuch a masterpiece..loved it ... especially James Murray ❤

ОтветитьThe school teacher should have married the vicar
ОтветитьIts a much harder read when you are 16 and its on your exam course .The dialect was hard to understand .Nevertheless, Hardy wrote great stories which I appreciate now that Im much older .He tackled some difficult issues in his day .
ОтветитьEnjoyed the film, but, in the final sequence at the wedding there was a bowl of Granny Smith’s green apples that most definitely were not English apples. They weren’t even known at the time. Get the small details historically correct.
ОтветитьLovely story set in a country village. It takes us back in time to see those who worked the fields, attended church, and knew their place from the more wealthy. The question that arises is does one follow their heart and marry for love or for a secure life with money. I hope you enjoy this story as much as I did..
