His English is very fast now. Soon he will talk as fast as he turbo-talks in Spanish. Charly (Carlitos) is my absolute favorite player and person on the tour --the total package! I wish him good luck and blessings in everything he does!

He is my tennis son. Feel so paternal towards this young man.

Good questions. He seems ready to be a competitor and tennis fan.

Even though he is not 100% his forehand and winning ability is higher than some players.

Is it just me, or since the forearm injury, has Alcaraz been absolutely ripping the backhand? It's only been Madrid and one match in Paris, but it seems he's going bigger on that side since he can't rely on the forehand as much.

This Roland Garros tournament is truly one for the ages, never again will we see something like it. You have all the old legends still fighting but way off their peak abilities (Nadal, Novak, Nishikori, Wawrinka, Murray) and the new generation of futures greats (Sinner, Alcaraz) who have been injured but are hopefully finding form, and then you got the guys who have been fighting to get over the hump, that has been dominated by the Big 2/3 most of their careers (Meddy, Stef, Zverev, Rublev, Ruud) it’s gonna be interesting to see who makes it through. I don’t want to count out Rafa and Novak but I think there time has ended, I think we will have a new Roland Garros champion this year for the first time in nearly a decade

So humble and honest. It is nice to see you play again Carlos after many weeks. So happy I can watch again the tennis, all because of you.

All things considered, Carlos looked very sharp after that first shaky game. Reduced his UE's, moved well, even threw in a couple of great drop shots. Ballstriking on his backhand was mesmerizing, particularly his backhand down the line. Vamos Carlos!

Tennis is dead without Carlos in the mix. So good to see him. Stay healthy and win this Carlos! Vamos!

that Rolandgarros cramp vs Djokovic made Alcaraz to reach his peak level of tennis in age 20
