I like the style of the first one. It gives more of the old western feel people think of when the think Red Dead. The second one leans more on the realistic and polish of it which is what people think of when then hear about rdr2

It always bugged me about the red plastic shotgun shells because they weren't even in use till the 60s. In rdr times it would have been a metal shell still

First one is more nostalgic and more cowbowish. 2nd is just so badass and cool looking. Rockstar knows how to make an intro.

And then the game is unplayable with its unfixable infinite loading screen which loads forever

okay to settle the score between which intro is better: we all have to admit if it had the harmonica from RDR1, and the updated, much better sounds from the peacemaker in RDR2 it’d be insanely goated

I like the attention to detail in rdr2's logo. The back of the shells even have the roman numerals for the year rockstar was founded.

I STILL play red dead 1 on my PS3. It would be better my PS3 wasn’t older than Gandalf and didn’t make jet engine noises as soon as you turned it on😂. I would love a remaster.

I honestly believe the first one is better. I used to play RDR1 all the time, and there was no better feeling than waking up in the morning and starting it up to here that theme play. I miss those days
