Thanks for watching!
ОтветитьCan you include a link to purchase the anode rod? Thank you.
Ответитьi tried using a compressed air impact wrench on my rheem gas water heater after soaking with penetrating oil. DID NOT WORK !
please advise with any other tips and tricks.
Any links to where I can buy myself a *teflon taint*? Been cracking up for five minutes over that. Thanks for the video!
ОтветитьWorked like a charm, great simple video. I used a solid anode rod and trimmed it the 3" I needed to fit in our smaller 30 gallon tank using a angle grinder. :) Thanks!
ОтветитьWill using an impact wrench cause any harm to glass-lined tanks...as mine seems to be?
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьI have two magnesium anode rods in my Rheem water heater. It extends factory tank warranty by an additional 4 years (to 10 years in total).. The second rod had to be installed on the HOT output side of the tank (ala Bradford White tanks)...Curious, how often I should be changing anode rods since I already have two ? The regular rod is relatively easy to change while the one on the hot water output is more challenging.
ОтветитьMy electric tank was installed a year and a half ago. Flushed it today and water was black. I let it fill and turned on tub faucet. Still running black. Could this be the anode rod?
ОтветитьThanks for the video. At 3.40 you mentioned about some good connection. Couldn't hear properly, did you mean electrical connecton ?
