Hello Casey. Thank you for the video. It is very easy to follow, however I am not able to have 2 windows on the right of the media. You have one for the ¨final video display¨ and another where you set the IN and OUTs.. but I don´t have the "middle window" and I dont have the IN and OUT options..

H Casey, I'm new to DaVinci and I would like to know how to reflow body text captions. I have tried to simple grab the text box handles and drag, but all that does is scale the text. I want the text to reflow and the same size but have no idea how to do it. I can do it easily enough in Prem Pro. Can you explain how to do it Please?

I went on the advise off this video for beginners,and it turned everything around for me ,now I’m on the walkthrough video by this same guy and it worked for me, I can now put my drone footage and camera footage together with ease,,I’m only 5 weeks inn but it’s all coming together now and if I said I was confused at the beginning it would be a understatement,,thanx for posting these videos, I will post my first video when I’m confident enough that it’s watchable ,thanx again.

I have been editing video off and on (often widely spaced) since 1986 but I watched your excellent vid as a refresher to see if I could pick up another trick or two. I'm going to have a look at DaVinci Resolve 17. I have been using the reasonably priced powerful AVS4You forever.
Understanding that this is a teaching vid, in practice I make only one difference. I lay the sound track down first and mold the video to it. Either way you prolly helped a ton of people wondering how to produce a good YT video. Ya done good!

Question - how do you get media like a still photo or a short video clip to time line? Do you just grab and drag to time line. And does it name the time line . Can one take a bunch of still files like from photoshop , a jpeg and bring that media in and create a video ? Yes I am a absolute beginner. Thanks 😊

Great video. I like the tempo, clarity and have to say you are fantastic presenter. No BS. I purchased Filmora but not happe with the workflow. Considering RESOLVE now. Keep doing great job. I watched a few Vids about RESOVE and certainly your way is the most professional. It is pleasure to watch.

Could you make some Vids on how to edit multiple objects (clips, transitions, effects etc.). I have had a big issues doint this in Filmore and would like to know how intuitive it is in Resolve.
