such a shit video you didnt even try to find a good valorant crowd. Like you showed a cs crowd from a MAJOR and then showed a valorant crowd from either VCT tokyo or red bull home ground witch both were full off japanese people who arent known to be loud at all, and always try to be respectfull. Like cs prob has the best crowds in esports but atleast try with the video, check VCT lock/in sao paolo that crowd has a lot more energy.

The fnck is this video?

Csgo can't help being the most bias mf in the world.

And the whole abilities make game boring. Jesus yall need to shnt up.

The point of Valorant having abilities means its not copying csgo. If its exactly like csgo then whats the point. 😂 the game plays very differently.

Abilites are super imporant for winning the game. Mcree ults are hype in overwatch because in actual Games that is hard to pull off.

The example you gave is called a lucky shot on a bronze rank. In a real game A complex Art form is hype if you actually understood it.

But who would have guessed a csgo player who cant think of more utilities only 4 they can put on their memory.

They cant appreciate the game Lol.

Not a fan of Valorant, but i believe the reasoning is Culture.
CSGO had years upon years to build up culture and fun while Valorant is still somewhat of a new title, compared to CSGO

imo its just more eu crowd traditions for cs where as valorant seems much more like a us crowd. like if you look up football fans in us vs eu you can tell its the same

Valorant observers are usually lame. I really hope I'm wrong with this.

And yes, those super ability didn't translate as super in the viewing experience. While playing it might be different.

Nah, that Entry by Jett was worth hype even if "extra-ordinary" stuff is built in. I think it's the lack of depth and investment Valorant has. Half of their community is casual whereas CS:GO and CS2 has had a decade+ of players

Idk why he didn’t use lock-in for valorants crowd example, japan had
more people yeah but the energy the crowd at lock-in had doesn’t compare to all of the other events. Even though they only cheered for Loud it was still more energy than the rest.

you're comparing a game with more than 20 years of history with one that just sprung up during covid? and then saying that the one with 17 less years has a smaller fanbase? seriously? it doesnt take a genius to come to the conclusion that the cs crowd would naturally be bigger and better

So wait, your going to take a game, that has been around for 3 years, one that has had a crowd for about 1 and a half, and use a clip of a crowd that cant make any noise because of Japanese covid restrictions. Im not sure what CS players snort for breakfast that prevents them from learning anything about any other game outside of CS but its fucking weird. Not to mention that the entry wasent even crazy, it was interesting but not crazy. You just took a random clip of a match and said (this was a super insane entry) and then acted shocked when people did not react as such. If you watch any real Valorant you know these crowds get hyped af (see most of Sao Paulo Lock In or Champions 2023). CS just got lucky that it only has communities in Europe and South America, and was able to coast off of sports culture while Valorant has both plus Asia and American communities that dont have the same culture around sports. It feels so weird to see CS players flex their 23 year old community on any other game, especialy one thats only 2 years old. Hell Valorant has already had better stages, and opening ceremonys than CS by far. We can stack up 2002 CS to 2023 Valorant if you like, but that wont go well will it?

I think the argument of "There's always something cool happening all the time" being a bad thing is a really bad take, i dont understand how somthing being boring most of the time could be a positive for the game, Lerco says "There are some matches where nothing really crazy happens at all" and i think that makes the game very boring to watch,
The crowd reactions you see in clips are most likely the only time the crowd really feels alive in these matches because the game is so slow most of the time.
Being bored watching a 45 min game and then getting really excited the one time anyone gets more then a double kill does not mean counterstrike is more fun to watch

also, most of the csgo community that goes to these events do it for the sheer love for the game, all the history they have with it makes a connection, like those in soccer always cheering their teams, its something that they connect with, but valorant is very new, so are its players, the connection that a veteran of csgo has with that game cannot be compared with a veteran valorant player, ALSO, most csgo enjoyers are adults who have no fear when shouting for a game they love. OH ALSO, the entire freaking csgo community is wild XD. trumpet guy should be a sticker btw

i think thats similar to why people find football so entertaining to watch, its 90 minutes where not much happens, but when goals or incredible saves do happen, it is spectacular (especially when the goal is amazing). you watch this build up until suddenly you get the straw that breaks the camels back and the entire stadium erupts
