I used it for Sazen meditation without any religious connotations. Just breathing normally and observing how you breathe. Let random thoughts come up, but do not follow them. This exercise is said to shrink the right amygdala, the center of stress and fear in your brain. 25 min a day is for starters, 2 x 40 min is regarded as being more effective.
