I have xiaomi vacuum roborock s50 do you know how can set to start by a button? Nice job by the way
ОтветитьI really wish smart things directly supported WiFi devices like Tplink and Kasa. I have several z-wave devices, but I really wasn't thinking when I saw a good deals on 3-way tp-link switches that I installed in the home. Then to realize that SmartThings doesn't support it directly without a middleman machine or something like that.
ОтветитьWould you do a whole series based on webcore such as like webcore for beginners because this is the first time I've ever heard of it?
ОтветитьHave you figured how to integrate nest into smarttthings ? Contemplating returning my nest and picking up an ecobee instead. and my nest hello back for ring door bell.
ОтветитьHello again! Are you at all concerned that groovy based SmartApps will one day be removed by Samsung? Also WebCoRE itself I think has been abandoned by it's primary developer. Could be wrong... That's why I switched to Hubitat. Rule Machine just got a big update, I've got to dive into is capabilities and limitations.
ОтветитьGreat video. Thank you. Have you reviewed ADT Smartthings security hub. Looking for a good display for my smartthings/all audio/video devices.
Ответитьin new smartthings app i don't find how to add the webcore service, can you help me?
ОтветитьWhere can I get that awesome batman light?
ОтветитьWhat a great video, I've ST for two years and never heard this before, thank you so much, regards from Mexico. Keep doing this WebCoRE series.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing this video on Webcore. What will make it more usable is relating it to examples of different scenarios.
ОтветитьCould I make the SmartThings Presence Sensor do something like this with Web Core?
If I am away from home and return between 12am - 6am turn lights on?
Currently this doesn’t really seem to work using automation because the sensor picks up that I’ve arrived after 12am even if I didn’t leave the house before 12am.
Let me know if this can be done and I’ll give it ago! Otherwise let me know if you have any other ideas how I can get it to work.
Quick question. With webcore can you call an API as an action
Or
Can the action be somehow a command for google home to run? For example. You can use voice to ask google to pull up front door camera on google home hub (the one with a screen) but is it possible to get webcore to trigger a command for google assistant to run?
What response times do people experience with WebCore? I had a button hooked up to a light bulb and the response could be anything from 3 to 10 seconds... Was there something I was missing? In the end I just ended up creating my own SmartApp directly on my hub where response is mostly instantaneous.
ОтветитьThis isn't very intuitive from the get-go - I've installed the app and asks me to enter some code, but cannot for the life of me figure out how! There is no option to register either on the app or the website and none of the about or help sections mention anything about this initial step - any help??
ОтветитьThank you for a deeper dive into webcore! I learned a lot and I'm eager to get started.
ОтветитьGreat video as always. Any idea on how to connect an LG TV to smartthings? I have a Wemo plug and multipurpose sensor turning on a cooling fan unit if the temperature inside my cabinet goes over 80°. The problem is, summer is coming so the fans turns on without the receiver being on because room temperature so it waste electricity. I want to trigger the automation only if the TV's on. Can you help or give me another idea? Thanks. I have a harmony hub, ifttt, an echo, if any of the helps.
ОтветитьI use webCore for when I need to use a time function with commands and occupancy.
Washer and Dryer notifications, Garage door auto close, closet auto off lights after the switch is turned on.
Wife is really liking it.
Hi how do you add all those smart apps you have like ecobee, logitech, my q, ring, st community installer ect?...Thanks !
ОтветитьThanks for this, but this was no beginners course that I was looking for. The speed you went through things was whizzed lol. Maybe a webcore for dummies series? (still liked though lol and already subbed :)
ОтветитьHey! I came across your video for the very reason that you used in your video, that is override a motion sensor command to turn the light off
when turned on manually. I like your solution! You mentioned you would share the code/program but I don't see a link...please share

What scripting language is it?
ОтветитьDoes the code live in the smartthings app of does smartthings have to reach out to the webcore site to execute. In other words if the webcore site went away would the code still work??
ОтветитьExcellent video - but, could you share the pistons? You've given me some ideas but they're a bit too advanced.
Cheers.
Hi Reed, took me about 30 minutes to work out why you have properties of a piston in your video but not on mine after someone recommended changing ‘task cancellation policy’. No videos or any websites hinting how to do that. Tried swapping browsers, everything.
But found out clicking an ‘if’ makes that properties appear but yours were showing from the start.
Hi may I know how u set the motion lights to turn off less than 10 seconds of inactive motion and if motion is active for more than 10 seconds the lights will stay on?
ОтветитьSo where is the script for the batman light with motion sensor?
ОтветитьWhat's going to happen to webCoRe after the Smartthing Classic app is phased out?
ОтветитьThanks for this overview!
ОтветитьYou zoomed through it, we need to go through examples written. I'm still confused.
ОтветитьThanks for this video. I want to purchase a new hub. Do you think Smartthing v2 its better than v3.? Which one do you think I need to buy.
Ответитьwould anyone know why my LifX lights are not showing up in the devices list in webCore?
I added the token onto webCore from LifX... but I still don't see it.
thanks
Hey i am trying to set a reminder to change my cats litter box every other day. I can't figure out a good way to to do this
ОтветитьReed, are you using the new SmartThings app these days? Do you have any problems with send PUSH notification to the new app?
ОтветитьWebcore! Where have you been all my life lol, where are your examples though?
ОтветитьReed great video. Would you mind sharing your piston on the kitchen light. Thxs. Keep the webCoRE ideas coming 😁
ОтветитьCan webCoRE trigger Alexa routines? Because that would be really cool.
Ответитьwhere did you get that cool bat signal on your bookshelf ?
ОтветитьWhere can I get the bat signal lamp??
ОтветитьHey, do you have the link for the bulb holder next to you(Inside the shelf, which have lifx bulb )
ОтветитьWhere can I get the batman light ?
ОтветитьHow to get web core setup in the new app? I also don’t see any option. Plus all tutorials are using the old app.
ОтветитьSo...does webCoRE make more or less sense now? 👨💻
