I don't understand why people always put Matlab on a list. It has a completely different purpose. How can you rank Matlab as a programming language and just ignore simulink? That makes no sense.

I love Matlab because it allows me to make calculations fast with minimum code. I have useful scripts on my phone thanks to the Matlab app

Edit : the absence of a dark mode and good syntax highlighting on the desktop app is criminal though
