Actual I have to install a 16 channel hik hybrid dvr typ ids. Do you know a easy solution for arming/disarming like the 2wire at the I-series?

Y using PI encoder if you can directly connect the optex PIR sensor to NVR then using alarm input and set everything to NVR?

Thanks! What should be seen on the NVR Playback page? What color bars? I get alarms from Input 1 with audible beeps but nothing on the playback page unless I search for alarms manually. Input 1 is fed by a PIR beam via a IDS X64. EDIT: I set the Record schedule to Motion OR Alarm and now red bars appear in the playback timeline where the beams were tripped, so I'm happy for now.

Hi, quality content 👌🏻. Wondering is it possible to connect the optex detector directly to the camera if the NVR has not got alarm inputs. Camera hikvision DS-2DE4A425IW-DE

Can you have multiple PIRs and then have the PTZ point at them whenever they are triggered, or would it get confused if there was more than one alarm event? I'm assuming it can only move from its resting monitor position to a PIR protected location and then back again.

Can I connect my PIR detector to another camera with alarm output (no ptz), so when I walk in front of that camera, the PTZ look into an specific location with preset?

Hi, I've set this up like you've done but my ptz is only moving whilst the beam is broken? Is that a setting? Thank you

Are the inputs and outputs on hikvision NVRs, DVRs and Cameras dry contacts?
