The icons are actually possible to get without hacks all you have to do download the games and load data to the game and then beat the levels and save then load to geometry dash full version. Cause I have all the icons for the spin-off games.

The icons are not actually impossible to get. If you unlock it, save progress, then go to Full Version then press load (in full version) then it would be there
