For those very very few who actually suffer from diagnosable gender dysphoria (a very real psychiatric disorder), this movement of politically correct wokesterness is doing more harm than good and will result in the inevitable backlash that will affect all, including those true sufferers. Different studies have arrived at different conclusions about the prevalence of gender dysphoria. The DSM-5 estimates that about 0.005% to 0.014% of people assigned male at birth (5-14 per 100k) and 0.002% to 0.003% of people assigned female at birth (2-3 per 100k) are diagnosable with gender dysphoria. However, as of late, there are a disproportionately large number of transgender people in popular culture, who should not be there per these statistics.
Regretfully all you need do these days is merely state that you're transgender and suddenly everyone is compelled to coddle you and accept you at the risk of being labeled transphobic. So, for example, any gay trans vesti seeking attention or fame, who utterly and miserably failed to do so while living happily under their natural gender, can suddenly claim that they are pursuing their "girlhood" and become an internet sensation impersonating a Disney princess. For those true dysphoric individuals, these others make a mockery of their condition. True transgender individuals are not out crusading to get people to believe that they are the other sex; they just want acceptance for who they are and just want to lead their lives in peace. They know they can't change their biology. They understand, that without the hormones that they must take (for the rest of their lives), they will regain the natural appearance of their innate biology and that reality de facto renders them different than the sex they identify with. So transitioning is, at best, an imperfect process that affords true sufferers the opportunity to live their lives as the person that they feel they are, though never completely becoming that person. You can't change your brain. You can't change your endocrine system. You can't change your chromosomal makeup. This are just facts which are not subject to debate, regardless of what side of the transgender movement debate you are on.

Who knows, in the future we may develop some gene therapy enabling one to change their chromosomal makeup, resulting in a true biological transition. However, that day is not here yet and to hold examples such as Fallon Fox and Jazz Jennings, as examples of what the transgender community should aspire to become is insane. One is a former male, with higher bone density, faster twitch muscles, increased lung capacity, competing with females in a full contact sport. The other is a child that was transitioned at such a young age that the jury is still out as to whether this child (now adult) ever truly had gender dysphoria. How do you diagnose gender dysphoria at 4 years of age? And the fact that the family has transformed this into a lucrative attention seeking money grab...is that who truly represents the transgender community? What about those very few people who transition, quietly, after years of evaluation and therapy, who do so after ensuring that this is there only viable option, who do not seek attention, fame, popularity, or fortune, who only seek anonymity and a semblance of a normal life...what about them? Who is looking out for them?

this video needs to be removed. it is pretty absurd that the only reason it is still up is because it mentioned transgender so many times. Chanel West Coast or Chelsea Chanel Dudley was never and is never accused of being a trans individual other than in this video. This is extremely disturbing.

To admire someone who's obviously confused or they've been misguided.. I can't admire someone like this or anyone else.. Jazz Jennings is so missed up, she is no more happy after transitioning than she was before. Actually I think it meant more to her mom than to her. Parents of heterosexual kids teach our teens abstinence, but Jazz mother was all over the world finding a doctor to do Jazz bottom surgery so she could have sex and she was still a teenager. Sad!!!
