I'm looking for a Japanese Fender Jaguar color red preferably, does anyone now where can i find her?

MMh shall i go for this squier jag, or for the squier jagmaster? This one looks slightly better than the jagmaster, but this one doesn't have a tremolo, u can add one to the jag right?

Would this be a good lead guitar for pop-punk influenced music? I'd be pairing it with a Line 6 Spider IV HD150 half stack. I really don't have the time to actually go up to a music store and play it through my model amp (if they have it on display to play) at the moment.

What are the differences between this and the Jagmaster, does anyone know? I'm torn between the two as my next guitar, could anyone give their opinion/anything they know on the matter?

@loganbennett13 If you want a "real" Jaguar then these Squiers are not what you are looking for. You're better off looking at the reissues or "Classic Player" Fenders.

@javidquint Cool. I was at guitars plus the other day and i asked one of the guys there if it was worth paying 599 for it. He said that he could have one ordered for for the same price, but the one he would order is a mexican made fender jaguar. But the squier i played was really nice. It felt wonderful. Only thing was, it needed new strings.

@BandwannaMcGunner jagmaster has single coil, this has humbuckers. the jaguar is better imo.

It is like a jaguar just based on Cobains model with super distorsion humbuckers.Notice that the magnet name on this guitar is HB102 (duncan) and the cobain one is DP100 Bridge (DiMarzio) and DP 103 neck (also DiMarzio),see the simularity.Also concider that Cobain"s jaguar is a big success

@paul0o93 if the body is deep enough, i dont see why not. you'll need to route the body though

Hey what is the switch thing for, because when I put it to the right or the left I hear no difference?

@thewestguy11 it's the pickup selector, switch it to the left u get the bride humbucker, switch right for neck and middle for combo. the neck is for bassier sounds and the bridge for lead tones.

Man, I'm Torn between this and a Vintage Strat. How is the neck on this thing? Does it Resemble a Strat or is it chunkier?

I just bought this guitar in the US and I was also looking at the Fender Modern Player Jaguar. In my opinion, this guitar blew it away in finish quality and sound. I was really shocked at how cheap the Modern Player looked in all three finishes. Buy the Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar for sure.
