I have a whole lot of nostalgia for the 3DS considering I was too young to even use the 3D by at least a couple years when it originally came out, I had a lot of great memories on both my flame red Wii-era 3DS and my multiple 2dses, until very recently I never owned a new 3DS but I picked up a black new 3DS this march and I love this thing.

I don’t know when my parents got mine but I’m sure fucking glad to have it, wish I used it instead of letting it collect dust except when I wanted to play smash bros, gonna homebrew the fuck out of mine till I can’t find any more games I’ve never heard of or played before

The 3DS was released 2 weeks before my birthday. I was so excited for it, and I was a snoopy 14yo, so I had found where my parents hid the one they bought for me. I opened it, and tried to make the box look unopened. In retrospect, they defiantly noticed, but they never said anything. The next year I brought it to school and lost it, and I'm 95% sure the office secretary found it and took it her her son. (-"Has a 3DS been turned into the lost and found?" -"is it a greenish blue rectangle thing? nope" My parents bought me another one, and so I'm honestly just upset I don't have the Ambassador GBA games.
