Damn that recoil anticipation!!
ОтветитьWhen it comes to the 22 I tell everyone to get a 22 conversion kit for their A.R. 15, it’s the best $160 I’ve probably ever spent, it allows you to train for a lot cheaper, shooting the same gun that you would potentially be fighting with, and also enables you to have a 22 caliber without carrying an extra gun.
ОтветитьForget about what he said. Get a Glock 43x for EDC, then a Glock 17 for home defense and finally an AR-15 for SHTF.
ОтветитьMotica. 😂😂😂
ОтветитьIn the commie states the AR alternative is the mini-14. The fixed mag bullshit AR is not worth it.
ОтветитьHow bout just buy a Ar10..it can serve as a defensive tool like ar15/shotgun/bolt...and use the left over money to buy ammo
ОтветитьNice. That is pretty much what I did. Moved back from NZ in 2020 with pretty much no firearms. Started with pistol and training. Built a 5.56 and got training. Then a 300 BLK Pistol and can. Then an AR10 .308 and just got a Mossberg 88 shotty. My son at home got a pistol and just got his first AR 5.56. Just found you and enjoying the content, thank you
ОтветитьBest part is, first gun I started with is my p365 xmacro
ОтветитьCz p01 ,x95 tavor, Mossberg 590 a1 pump , Ruger 10/22 savage tac 308 bolt action and s&w 686 357 mag revolver would be nice
ОтветитьIt is natural for a thoughtful & caring man to help others aVoid
tHe mistaKes that can be made along a timely & practical journey.
I do love a good 22 ammo is cheap I have the ruger sr22 rifle with weaver scope and a light mounted
Ответить1 taurus g2c 9mm
2 ruger 1022 aniversary edition 22lr
3 mossberg maverick 88 12 gauge
4 norinco sks with a sporter stock 762x39
If i could afford it...
5 springfield armory scout squad m1a in 308
My list.. have all but number 5 great vid 👍
GOD NECK
ОтветитьUmmm. Ok
ОтветитьI wanted a 365 but is not Cali compliant. So I went with the p229 elite
ОтветитьThat AR is about $5000 with the toys on it , so most of us regular joes can't even touch it ..... scopes, suppressors and all !!!
ОтветитьMakes sense for those that want to go that path
Specialized scenarios like skeet shooting, Turkey or bird hunting etc you just need the right shotgun, like you mentioned
Ultimately the firearm itself is just another tool, so I would add, get the best tool you can put the door and you will never be disappointed ✌️
Best part of being a 6'4" 220lb guy? Most full size pistols are reasonably concealable.
Ответить308 perfect for zombies of any weight
ОтветитьI have them all first 4 in the same order haha
ОтветитьRiddle me this. Back when Mosins were 90 dollars each. 1 AR15 with 420 rounds of ammo or 5 Mosin with 440 rounds of spam can ammo for a family. They cost the same
ОтветитьHaving all you mentioned , I want a .357 lever gun . Same ammo for pidtol and rifle .
ОтветитьLever action and revolver . Those are the two guns I would carry .
ОтветитьStop with the nato round ! Shtf nothing is around all ammo is gone . The ammo you have is the ammo you stockpiled .
ОтветитьI like the cenario there's several I'd never buy and others I'd never sell/trade.
I definitely wouldn't buy a 9mm. And would start with a revolver. I'd also have more long guns that shot pistol ammunition.
NEVER NEVER underestimate 22lr hitmen used them for a reason.
The only reason to have 556 is was of finding ammo. Shotgun is very versatile but having one others don't would also have advantages.
30 caliber rifles are a great investment.
And have already started start piling Ammo including 556LOL just thinking ahead.
ОтветитьI have all of these, except the AR15 still need to get that have doubles of the 22 Ruger 3 0 8 30 odd, 6 nine, millimeter 44 3 57. Anyway, have plenty of slide arms in plenty of shotguns.
ОтветитьI don’t have a bolt gun instead I have an 18” 6.5 Grendel I know it’s not going to get out to distance with as much power as most high powered bolt action rifles but it’s definitely good enough out to 600yds, I’ve never shot beyond 600yds mostly because that’s as far as I’m able to locally but I do it pretty regularly even with the 223/5.56 And there is a very noticeable difference between the 6.5 and 5.56 on steel at 600yds. It’s pretty hard to hear hit with the 5.56 even with the 68,75 and 77 grain bullets. The only downside I see with the Grendel really is the ammo which I’ve been shooting for almost a decade with the Grendel now so I’ve got a good bit along with a decent amount of reloading components since I do a little hand loading from time to time for accuracy and hunting rounds. I’ve pretty much got a carbine/rifle for everyone in the household to dual wield and just as many handguns. I do however need a good 22 and 12ga. The only 22 I have is an old stevens bolt action tube fed and a 7.5” ar15 pistol I converted to 22. The only shotgun I own is a single shot .410 I bought my oldest son years ago. I’d really like to get an m&p 22 or 10/22. Been eyeing a benneli m4 clone on Sportsmans guide don’t remember the brand off hand but it’s only $450 and has pretty good reviews. But I definitely want a semi auto shotgun tube fed preferably. Just haven’t pulled the trigger on one yet 😂
ОтветитьWhen the SHTF you're only going to be able to run with one. You may be on move and moving fast .
ОтветитьI'd also add a 6th category. You also need an anti- material rifle. Having been inthe military and working/watching the UN and guerrilla groups work i will tell you that their morale goes to rock bottom if you can take out their transportation. A nice 338 lapua magnum firing solid brass is nice for this and puts meat on the table too
ОтветитьFor those experienced with handguns and long guns:
1. 9mm Parabellum 4" to 5" barrel; double stack mag. Beretta 92 series are one of the more common in addition to Glock 19
2. Generic AR-15 5.56x45mm -- with "Mil Spec" form fit function parts . . . no Gucci Gun proprietary parts . . . with MaTech, KAC or Troy Industries BUIS.
3. 12 Gauge pump action "tactical" Remington 870 or Mossberg 500/590 with 18" barrel, extended magazine, and cylinder choke.
Ammo will be plentiful for all of them.
Pepe' le pew pew
ОтветитьLong range rifle. Let's just say:
A designated way to make sure that anything you have to reach out that far for, is going to understand that it no longer, is gonna do what it wanted to do, to begin with.
So I really like the .357 cartridge much more than a 9mm my first one was a Colt Trooper 4 inch sweet firearm.
ОтветитьI would add an AK 7.62x39 along with the AR15. SHTF options open up to a wider degree.
ОтветитьWhat an incredible waste of time. You waste so much time talking about things that are completely irrelevant, plus you are incredibly redundant.

I think imo i would flip flop the ar15 and the shotgun because a shotgun can do a whole lot depending on what shell you put in it a 12 guage is far from a one trick pony
ОтветитьI hate that everyone always says a handgun.
Good luck stopping a charging moose, or bear with 9mm.
Also you cant have them everywhere. Canada theyre REALLY restricted.
If you can only have 1, it should be a 14-20 inch barrel on a 12ga.
One hit of 00buck is the same as unloading a .32 revolver into something.
Slugs will take any game.
Penetration slugs will beat most nij3 armour. Bird shot will put food on the table.
9mm doesnt do jack, and in a pistol good luck hitting much game at 50+ yards
😂 pretty much half your list is illegal in canuckastan!
Pistols and ars are out right banned, and any 10/22 mag over 10 rnds is banned (you might sneak it into a charger pistol)
Ps self defense is not considered a valid reason to own a firearm here (like if you mention it on your pal application your not getting a pal (or the now useless rpal)
Gun 1: Suppressed semiauto 22lr
Gun 2: 10,000 rounds of 22lr ammo
Gun 3: good optic for 22lr
Gun 4: 10,000 rounds of 22lr ammo
Gun 5: 10,000 rounds of 22lr ammo
What’s the holster for the Macro here?
ОтветитьPreparedness for what ?
ОтветитьGreat video Brother..👍 And I love how you phrased your wording....🦅🇺🇸🦅
ОтветитьBased on all youve just shared with us. None of what you bought or did was a waste of money or time. That practical experience is hard to learn from a book, and for those of us open to allowing you to make these mistakes on our behalfs, we will be able to save money but more importantly, save time, and focus on practicing with more shtf practical guns.
Thank you
Man you can get a decent AR15 at the moment for $500, PSA got some great deals.
Ответить1 good thing to think of is a compatible carbine and pistol the new Henry homesteader that takes glock mags or keltec pmr and cmr 22mag both take the same mags
Living in Canada our options are far less now that the handgun and semi automatic ban is on i guess it would only be a 22 12g and a 3006 would be my choices
Get out of the god damn wind!
ОтветитьMossberg's step son the 88 Maverick is a good substitute for the 500, and very much alike the 500 except the 88 Mav is cheaper
