Starfield [4K] FREE DLSS 3.5 Frame Generation Mod + Install Guide, RTX 4090 / 7800X 3D

Things i noticed to show the config screen you need launch the game first to show the config file and it's pretty decent but i wonder can we change the preset of MaxPerformance to something like `Quality`?

Does this work for rtx 30 and lower series?

There is no config file in the current steam version. FSR2Steamline.asi, winmm.dll, winmm.ini, then 6 files in the streamline folder.

What button to use to activate the settings on the screen? Reshade doesn't work with this mod right?

I did this with the Xbox Gamepass version a few days ago and it's a game changer. 4090/9900k- I was outside 52fps and now I'm around 92+ fps.

What about the pc latency. I recently bought a 4070ti and i tried cyberpunk first. The latency on that game is really making the game feel unresponsive with FG on. Is it any good here and not that much noticable ?

So you just run the game and the mod is working at its own, or you have to enable fsr in order to enable it? As I understand that you don't have to enable fsr at all, right? I'm currently running it in a 2070 graphics card and I can't see any improve (at least in the frame counter that Steam provides, that maybe is not working properly)

I play on a TV screen actually, can only play with 60fps. I installed all and the game runs smooth now. But it is possible to cap the fps with this mod? I run it now with 150-170 fps with screen tearing, V Sync is on.
Whe I uninstall the Mod the Game is caped at 60 fps, like my TV Screen can do.

Thank you for this awesome guide. I’ve been waiting for the free version for frame gen and this has transformed my fps in big cities. Running a 4070 with a weaker cpu Ryzen 3700x and now I get 60-70 fps in Akila/New Atlantis. Indoors I’m getting 100+. Amazing mod!

Nah. This shitty mode is making game crash like fuck on rtx 4090. Sound is stuttering and pausing in random moments, dialogues crashes and freezes like hell, game is freezing all the time every few seconds. Crap mod.

If you are playing the Game Pass / Microsoft Windows Store version of the game download the "FSR2Streamline - Xbox" file of this mod. I did the Steam version. It should be similar.

Really wishing I had a 4xxx card right now, shocked at how my 3070/12700kf system performs with this game, I know it's my GPU not my CPU, but still; I hope Nvidia releases some kind of dlss that my card can take advantage of.

I'm really hoping FSR3 gets put into Starfield sooner than later. Haven't delved into the specifics of that tech just yet, but probably gonna help me more than whatever optimizing BGS might still do.

Has anyone been experiencing flickering when you look at light sources or we experience frame dips or crashes.

I got the pure dark version and it has issues with crashes and flicker and frame dips. Latest version is better but just crashed on me.

I hope FSR3 looks this good, not just here but in general when compared to DlSS. At least on the newer Gpus. Also maybe it's me but the DLSS benchmark looked even better than the native from my screen at least. No flickering and a tiny bit sharper. Thanks for the showcase

I am guessing that since you had a base frame rate over 70 FPS that the latency feels okay with frame generation enabled?

As an AMD owner, I can say that this is impressive and I am baffled why they did not include DLSS at launch if it was this easy. WTF Bethesda??? AMD better get their %#*$ together and get that FSR 3 in there too FFS.
